[player_tooltip player_id='764345' first='Laney' last='Weaver']
She should provide help right away for a Puyallup team without a lot of depth aside from sister [player_tooltip player_id='362369' first='Maddy' last='Weaver'] in the post. Unlike her sister, Laney is a guard with a quick release from three and a good shooter. As she gets better at handling the ball, she could run the point but looks more like a shooter heading into the 2024 season. Rumor has it, she led Puyallup in scoring for much of the summer season. Sister Maddy is an all-state candidate, making for a nice inside-out duo.

[player_tooltip player_id='751208' first='Dilyn' last='Boeck']
Dilyn was great at the freshman showcase. She did a little bit of everything well as a guard who can play the one or two. She sees the floor well and had some great assists. She put it on floor and got to the basket. She played a high energy style but under control. She, along with the next player should see varsity minutes immediately, and might start right away.

[player_tooltip player_id='730365' first='Joy' last='Cushman']
Joy is a great shooter who should provide big minutes in the W.F. West backcourt this season. She has range and can fire it from deep with great shot mechanics. She will help out in the backcourt on a team led by [player_tooltip player_id='584642' first='Julie' last='Dalan'] in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='751217' first='Kate' last='Reinkensmeyer']
Pictured above, Kate was on the all tournament team at the Freshman Showcase. She was a relentless player, attacking the basket again and again. She has good quickness and is a good athlete to go with it. She seemed to be all over the floor with her high energy style.

[player_tooltip player_id='676259' first='Julia' last='Benthin'] - [player_tooltip player_id='748943' first='Aylah' last='Cornwall']
Thes two were Co-MVPs at the Freshman Showcase. Both were quite a bit ahead of the field as far as skill wise. Both did a lot of things well. Benthin is explosive and displayed all level scoring. Cornwall was much the same and also got her teammates the ball. I don't know what Gonzaga Prep does with freshman but Aylah could be an immediate boost on the offensive and defensive end. Julia will be a big part of Lake Washington's three headed monster with [player_tooltip player_id='547615' first='Paige' last='Citron'] and [player_tooltip player_id='317597' first='Ashley' last='Uusitalo']. The latter being a top 5 player in the class of 2026.
