Thomas moved up to #6 from #8 in the new set of rankings. Chase is a left-handed scoring guard who can really fill it up in a hurry at times. She had a very solid freshman season for the Lady Bengals. Chase averaged 16.3 ppg and 10.3 rebounds last season. Thomas shoots the ball at a high clip and with a lot of confidence.
Rush has an outstanding work ethic and it’s really starting to show for her on the court. Ava plays very comfortably out on the wing. She has a new address this season in the SCISA ranks at First Baptist in Downtown Charleston.
Ava ran with Team Curry this past Grassroots Circuit season and really played well at times. Rush can drive the ball from the wing when she’s not connecting on three-pointers and mid-range jumpers along the way. Ava brings good length to the table where she can be disruptive in the passing lanes and blocking shots from time to time.
Rush climbed up to #11 from #18 in this latest update.
Highlights
Wallace plays the game with no emotion and just a lot of toughness and grit. Rihanna can get the ball to the rack while finishing with either hand at the rim. She really excels getting the ball to the paint and creating for others along the way.
Rihanna has change directions and gets by defenders with ease times. She takes a lot of pride in being a very good on the ball defender and creating a bit of chaos along the way. Wallace was here back in June as a Stock-Riser. Wallace climbed up to #19 from #23.
Johnson sees herself now at #23 in the Palmetto State Rankings. Back in early June Simone was ranked #29. Johnson has played very well since June on the Grassroots Circuit and with her Lady Blazers High School team. Simone brings good versatility to the floor with her ability to play-inside out on the floor.
She likes to set up shop at times from the corner, but she can go down low and claim some rebounds and buckets along the way. Simone runs the floor very well and does a nice job of filling the lanes in transition.
Highlights
Garvin recently made the move over to Legion Collegiate Academy from Catawba Ridge HS. Kaitlyn is a tough competitor out top with her ability to play both guard positions. She never seems to show any hesitation to jump on the deck, take a charge, grab a loose ball or just simply make a quality pass.
Garvin comes in at #55 after being at #64 back in June. She keeps the ball low to the deck and rarely turns it over. Kaitlyn takes pride in playing defense along the way. She will be a great addition to a very new looked Lady Lancers squad.
Highlights
Chambliss made good strides over the summer and this fall with her game. Jada comes in at #81 after being #111 last June. She understands good shot selection on the floor and knows how to put the ball in the cup. Jada plays the game with a good basketball IQ and a great work ethic to the floor.
She plays the game very unselfishly and understands how to make her teammates happy with her solid passing skills.
