Kyndal had her future head coach sitting courtside, a heckler about 10 feet away from her and a member of the McDonald’s committee 10 feet away from him. She played like she was on some type of mission reeling of three pointer after three pointer with a stare down after each one. She was in assassin mode looking to dominate whoever was in front of her. She also took on the challenge of locking up the top player from Bullis who stood about five inches taller than her. In the end Kyndal was sitting on an unofficial 25 points and a victory for the cadets.
Highlights
Meghan dropped 15 points and looked really strong in the process. Bullis got a reality check going up against one of the top WCAC teams but it was clear that Meghan was in her league. She rebounded out of her area the give her team second chance points and had the Cadets at a stalemate at the half as she led all scorers at the break. She has a really soft touch around the basket and finished well. She will continue to get stronger during the season and by the mid season the Bulldogs will be a team no one will want to face.

Each game Madisen seems to cement her name more on the All-American lists. She’s getting to a point where she can do anything that she wants on the floor near flawlessly. When she shoots and you expect the ball to go in, when she drives you expect her to score or get to fouled. She probably can just call her number every possession and the Mustangs can still win games, however, her ability to see the floor and get others involved makes them a much better team that can potentially go undefeated.
Amora looked a little smaller than her listed 5’5″ but her play was around 6’2″. She made some difficult highlight type shots and was able to score on players no matter the height. She had some nice passes as she saw plays develop before the players got open. Her three was very accurate and her defense was solid. For a moment it felt as if she may lead the Panthers to a victory over their WCAC foe Bishop Ireton. Even without the win she made the game fun to watch.
Saniyah picked up the slack in the first half as Nyah Brooks had a slow start. She made plays on both ends and was a legitimate threat from beyond the arc. She showed really good elevation in the lane to finish plays and was physical in the lane. She was a big reason that Ireton was able to pull away from St. Frances.
