Emma Zuniga Emma Zuniga 5’9″ | SF West Salem | 2026 State OR is also among the statistical leaders in points and rebounds per game through the first half of the season, with 19.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. The forward has showed out with some massive performances against some of the Titans’ fiercest competitors, particularly at the POA Holiday Classic. With her combination of size, skill, and athleticism, there really is very little that Zuniga can’t do, from going to work in the post to running the offense to shooting the lights out from deep all while playing tough on the defensive end.
Carrying on the legacy of excellent players at South Medford, Taylor Young Taylor Young 5’7″ | PG South Medford | 2026 State OR is one of the absolute best of them. Stepping into the point guard role this year, Young is showing people how it’s done, averaging 17.4 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists per game so far this year. Young can stroke shots from deep and when she makes up her mind to get to the rim with her lightning-quick first step and her incredible ability to finish around the rim, there is little opposing defenders can do. And on the defensive end, she is one of the top on-ball defenders in the state of Oregon with her relentless effort.
Wilsonville’s premier point guard, Gabi Moultrie can do it all. She is averaging 16.4 points and 6.7 assists per game, both two of the highest in the state, and is also one of the leaders in rebounds and steals for her squad. She is one of those players that you find it hard to believe she’s only a sophomore with how intelligent and mature she is on the floor, as well as with some of the aspects of her game that are advanced like her footwork and handles. Moultrie has led her Wildcats to an undefeated start in conference, and she will be one to watch out for when the postseason rolls around.
Highlights
After earning first team all-state honors and leading Damascus Christian (who did not have enough for a team this year) to a 1A state championship as a freshman, Lainey Day Lainey Day 6’0″ | SG Adrienne C Nelson | 2026 State OR has been one of the most valuable assets on Nelson’s squad, picking right where she left off. The long, athletic wing is oozing with collegiate potential in all aspects of the game. She had 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals against Grants Pass, and 20 points, 3 rebounds, 5 steals, and a block over Reynolds in two of the Hawks’ most recent games.
Carly Skogstad Carly Skogstad 5’7″ | CG Sprague | 2026 State OR is one of the top up-and-coming guards in the class of 2026. In two of the Olympians’ games since the new year started, Skogstad put up 22 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals versus Tigard followed by 21 points, 9 steals, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist against North Salem. And these came after she hit five 3-pointers against McDaniel to go for 24 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. Clearly, Skogstad is a brilliant shooter — and scorer in general — and is constantly finding ways to contribute for her team all over the floor.
Benson is off to a great start this season, and sophomore Samarah Massey Samarah Massey 5’10” | SF Benson | 2026 State OR has played a huge role in that. The reigning PIL defensive player of the year, Massey is constantly a leader on the defensive end of the floor, making an impact as one of the top defenders in the state. As a sophomore, however, Massey has been growing offensively at an impressive rate, which was on full display when she was the Techies’ offensive spark with her 16-point, 8-rebound performance in the narrow loss to Clackamas earlier this season. Her versatility is something that can’t be taught.
As one of the best shooters around and a leader on her Lincoln team already, Siri Lindsey Siri Lindsey 5’4″ | CG Lincoln | 2026 State OR has been showing off what she is capable of as of late. She is the kind of player who hits at least three 3-pointers in just about every single game, but a recent performance of hers featured 7-made threes in the win over Roosevelt, resulting in 23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. She can shoot off the catch, off the dribble, after some crafty move, you name it. And in addition to this, Lindsey is super quick and plays at a contagious high tempo on both ends of the floor that is incredibly fun to watch.
