As a freshman, McGregor is off to an exceptional start, averaging 42 points per game, despite facing tough defenses. She’s redefining the game with an incredible scoring prowess that’s turning heads on the court. Keep an eye out for her unstoppable moves and impressive skills as she lights up the scoreboard this season.
Porter led her team to victory against Hesperia, scoring 34 points, making eight steals and five assists in the game. Her exceptional performance on the court, amidst her talented Hart team, is a testament to her natural ability and hard work in honing her skills.
Highlights
Ainsworth started the season coming off the bench for her Wayland team, but she earned a starting spot in the last five games, and her team has gone 4-1 with a thrilling one-point OT loss in those five games. She has become a threat to score the ball and gives a lot of energy with her on-ball defense.
Freeland has had an impressive start to her high school basketball career. She ranks second on her team in scoring, rebounding, and steals. Freeland is a versatile player who excels at driving to the basket and can finish with either hand. She is also a smart defender who is skilled at intercepting passes and disrupting plays, displaying the maturity of a seasoned player.
Arico, from Detroit Country Day, has been having an impressive season thus far. She has been averaging 15 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Arico is an exceptional player who plays beyond her age and is likely to be ranked near the top of our list for the 2027 class.
