had a solid year for a good Mclean team this year. Last summer, I talked about Tatum as an underrated player due for some recognition because of her play during AAU ball. Tatum showed off her high-level shooting and defense. Tatum finished first team in the Liberty district.

has caught my attention over the past few years as a great three-and-d player. She is excellent at getting her hands in passing lanes and turning her defense into offense. She shot the ball well this year and made first-team all-district.
Anya Rahman Anya Rahman 5’8″ | CG Langley | 2025 State VA had a little tougher time this year with her shot and overall efficiency. She was still able to win district and region player of the year and make first-team all-state in Class 6, which speaks volumes about Anya’s talent. Langley was terrific this year, and it started on the defensive end, and Anya played a part in that. She is an excellent ball-handler and a good passer. Even with her struggles with her shot this year, Anya was still a massive threat on offense.

Kennedy Parrott Kennedy Parrott 5’10” | CG Centerville | 2025 State VA struggled with staying healthy throughout the first few years of her high school career. This year, she stayed healthy and established herself as one of the best Juniors in NOVA. She won Concorde District Player of the Year, was second-team all-state and third-team all-met, and helped lead Centreville to a state Semifinal.
Sharpshooter Ellie Friesen Ellie Friesen 5’9″ | SG Meridian | 2025 State VA had an outstanding year for a Meridian team that was a possession away from a state championship win. Ellie led them in scoring and is one of the best shooters in NOVA. Ellie had many accomplishments this season, finishing first-team all-district and first-team all-region. She also made second-team all-state.
Highlights
At my other forward position, I have Nora Stufft Nora Stufft 5’11” | SF Meridian | 2025 State VA . Nora is the unsung hero for Meridian. Her energy and defense are hugely impactful to this team. She rebounds the ball really well and plays bigger than her size. Nora averages three offensive rebounds per game, one of the best indicators for a player who plays hard. Nora was second-team all-district and second-team all-region.
Highlights
Georgia Simonsen Georgia Simonsen 6’0″ | SF Robinson Seconday School | 2025 State VA had another dominant season for Robinson this year. She was an absolute force on both ends all year. I saw Georgia outscore West Potomac in the district title game using her elite skill, size, and athleticism. Georgia had her way in the paint and put up some big performances this year. Georgia again won district player of the year and made first-team all-state in a loaded class 6.
