Bradley Central (33-1) 55

Coffee County (34-4) 35

I don't know that people understand what makes Bradley Central so good. Currently, today....they have legit STAR power. But what they've always had...the foundation of what has propelled them on this run of dominance, is a defense that's top notch. If you don't defend for Coach Reuter, you won't play. That's how Bradley Central only gave up 35 points to Coffee County. Coffee County shot 25% from the floor (11-44) and 4-18 from three. Bradley won the rebounding battle 32-21. And that's how they win.

How they win by 20 vs a 30 win team.....well, that's great defense mixed with star power.

At halftime Bradley was up by only 13 (30-17), despite the fact Bradley Central shot 57%!!!! from the field in the first half. Coffee County only shot 29%, but hit 4 threes in order to keep it close.

Bradley outrebounded Coffee 19-9 in the 1st half, relying on offensive rebounds to produce high percentage shots as part of their offense. While Fields was held to only 2 points at the half, Harmoni Ware and Tatianna Stovall stepped up big-time.

Ware had 12 points 6 rebounds (3 offensive rebounds) at the half. Stovall had 9 points and 7 rebounds at the half. [player_tooltip player_id='409074' first='Avary' last='Brewer'] had a really nice first half as well, knocking down a couple threes.

For Coffee, they just didn't get enough from their starters in the 1st half to beat Bradley. [player_tooltip player_id='361741' first='Olivia' last='Vinson'] was held scoreless. [player_tooltip player_id='780456' first='Jules' last='Ferrell'] had 5. [player_tooltip player_id='514120' first='Natalie' last='Barnes'] had 5. And [player_tooltip player_id='409035' first='Channah' last='Gannon'] had 6.

Coffee County came out fighting in the third quarter however, getting it under 10....but then Bradley Central went on a run to end the third quarter up 40-26. Stovall had 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks after 3 periods. [player_tooltip player_id='409074' first='Avary' last='Brewer'] ended the quarter with 9. Ware has 12 and 6. Bradley is only playing a 6 girl rotation, with Addie Gerren as the 6th man, sharp-shooter off the bench.

Bradley dominated this game, and outscored Coffee each of the four quarters.

Final Stats for Coffee

[player_tooltip player_id='780456' first='Jules' last='Ferrell'] 10 points

[player_tooltip player_id='361741' first='Olivia' last='Vinson'] 4 points 4 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='514120' first='Natalie' last='Barnes'] 7 points 5 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='409035' first='Channah' last='Gannon'] 8 points 5 rebounds

Final Stats for Bradley

[player_tooltip player_id='513228' first='Kimora' last='Fields'] 10 points, 5 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='409074' first='Avary' last='Brewer'] 11 points, 5 assists

[player_tooltip player_id='290719' first='Harmonie' last='Ware'] 18 points, 8-8 FTs, 7 rebounds

Tatianna Stovall 12 points, 15 rebounds, 6 blocks, 2 steals

[player_tooltip player_id='889803' first='Malia' last='Wilcox'] 4 points, 3 assists

Bartlett (30-10) 65

Cleveland (24-10) 55

Paradoxically, we have a championship game rematch of Bradley Central and Bartlett. Not suprising....because the programs have a culture of excellence. Suprising because it felt like Bartlett was down a bit this year, but they won 16 of 17, and have now won 30 games. All of a sudden, Bartlett is Bartlett again....and just at the right time.

Bartlett jumped out to a 10 point 1st quarter lead, and was still leading by 10 at the half. Cleveland was only down four heading into the fourth quarter. Bartlett outscored Cleveland by 6 in the last frame to secure the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='810500' first='Emma' last='Smith'] played the best game I've seen her play with 16 points on 6-13 shooting, and 2-5 from three.

[player_tooltip player_id='409019' first='Lauren' last='Hurst'] played all 32 minutes and finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals and block.

[player_tooltip player_id='899415' first='Ilianis' last='Rodriguez'] finished with 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. [player_tooltip player_id='811495' first='Laney' last='Copeland'] '27 played a terrific game with 7 points on 3-5 shooting. [player_tooltip player_id='821777' first='Emily' last='Patterson'] '27 had 5 points and 5 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='821760' first='Izzy' last='Smith'] '27 had 2. [player_tooltip player_id='409092' first='Tamiah' last='Tanner'] had 4.

For Bartlett, [player_tooltip player_id='290717' first='Carrington' last='Jones'] was the best player on the court: 23 points, 6 assists, 8 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='625399' first='Morgan' last='Williams'] added 11 points with three 3s (she's shooting the lights out). [player_tooltip player_id='409005' first='Zoey' last='Rixter'] had 9 points, 6 blocks!, and 3 rebounds. Decarra Ward finished with 9 points and 3 rebounds.
