#36 [player_tooltip player_id='853524' first='Iva' last='Medugorac'], 5'10", SF, Life Prep Academy - Medugorac, from Croatia, joined the Fire this season. She had a big impact in the team's play at The League finals in mid-February. A strong perimeter shooter with a swift trigger Medugorac has good size and speed. She will go end-to-end off the defensive rebound or steal.

#117 [player_tooltip player_id='856992' first='Adrian' last='Neal'], 5'9", SG, Wichita East - Neal makes good use of ball fakes to go baseline and score from the block without glass. The transfer from Wichita Southeast is known to be on the radar of state college coaches.

#134 [player_tooltip player_id='850390' first='Rachel' last='Tomac'], 6'0", C, Hutchinson - The Salthawk center returned to the game after two years. Immediately impactful her skill set took some time return as well as grow. Tomac has good size, long arms, and uses post moves well around the block to create shots. Using the agility and hops she has shown playing volleyball she jumps to the ball well and grabs balls most opponents cannot reach. She has solid transition speed and quickness. Had she played the past two years I would have loved to see where her game would have been. If she elects to play college basketball her development will accelerate.

#158 [player_tooltip player_id='850392' first='Ashley' last='Zastrow'], 5'10", PF, Shawnee Mission East - Zastrow caught my eye at a mid-season tournament against 6A state qualifier Manhattan. She had a bunch of turnovers but most were in live situations after rebounds, making a steal, or being pressured after making a catch. Nearly all were in active, hustling situations. On the way to collecting 8 rebounds, a blocked shot and a pair of steals Zastrow showed herself to be a physical, hustling defender who walls up well inside. She showed terrific hops and two-handed rebounding technique out of a box-out. Zastrow would be a solid pick-up for NAIA and Juco programs looking for good rebounder with size, speed, and athleticism.

#165 [player_tooltip player_id='850410' first='Lauryn' last='Gordon'], 5'10", SF, Goddard - In December I got a look at Gordon for the first time in since seeing her in 8th grade. I was pleased to see how impactful she was. Against Hutchinson her length, quickness, speed, and transition handles set the stage for her to score, rebound, and defend very position. She scored a team high 13 points by burying a pair of threes by moving into space and spotting up for a look. Colleges looking for size on the wing or a player to spot play as a stretch four would do well to look at Gordon.

#166 [player_tooltip player_id='850425' first='Anna' last='LaPlante'], SF, Spring Hill - LaPlante is really good cutting off screens quickly and flashing into the lane. she also moves into space, catches and passes the ball well. She has scoring instincts to go with speed, length and athleticism. She does a good job of challenging and blocking shots. LaPlante is an intangibles player who does a lot of things that do not show up in a box score. Schools looking for a high motor forward with should take a look at LaPlante.

#183 [player_tooltip player_id='862393' first='Audrey' last='Schulte'], 5'6", SG, Shawnee Heights - Colleges are always looking for players who can shoot the ball. Schulte is a consistent shooter with what my college Jeremy Deckard called "a pure jump shot." A smart, high motor guard who takes care of the ball, rebounds it, and defends on the perimeter.

#184 [player_tooltip player_id='862396' first='Callan' last='Hall'], 5'4", PG, Salina Central - 2.20.24 Deckard article v Andover - Catching Salina Central in towards the end of February PGH Kansas' Jeremy Deckard wrote that she is "The one player for Salina Central that I would recommend to college coaches...." He liked her quickness and poised play. He also said Hall battles and is not afraid of contact. He called thought colleges looking for a ...unselfish backup point guard should take a look at Hall."

#186 [player_tooltip player_id='850432' first='Azariah' last='Dawes'], 5'6", SG, Hutchinson - Dawes, the defending 5A state long jump champion who also finished seventh in the 200 m dash, has serious speed and hops on the hardwoods also. She also has terrific lateral quickness and is a hard-nosed on-ball defender. Experienced and smart, if she wants to play college ball Dawes would be a high value player for transition play and half-court defense.

#187 [player_tooltip player_id='862399' first='Holli' last='Emmons'], PG, Fredonia - Emmons is very fast with the ball and shoots the three ball with little wasted movement. With her quick hands and feet she has been a steal machine at times throughout her high school career. Schools looking for depth at the guard spots that they can get shooting and on-ball defense from should take a look.
