Continue ReadingThroughout Sunday I saw several interesting prospects play their hearts out and leave it all on the hardwood. While this was happening, I was taking some quick notes about what I was seeing, live-in-action. Below I highlight five individuals and briefly describe what I saw out on the floor in their specific contests.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Allie Zittel – 2025 – SG – Air Minnesota 2025 Jech (MN)
“In her last game of the weekend, Allie Zittel went off from behind the three point line for her Air Minnesota 2025 team. She was making it rain from deep at an alarming rate and it was noteworthy. Zittel was someone that I highlighted prior to this weekend as an individual who you should watch out for and in this specific contest, she didn’t disappoint. Capping off what was an impressive event not just for Zittel but this entire program as a whole.”
Josie Kuper Josie Kuper 6'2" | C AGWSR | 2025 State IA – 2025 – C – Iowa Prep 2025 Red (IA)
“Kuper did, what Kuper does this weekend. She is a 6’2 Center, that was using her body and size to dominate near the basket and on the boards on both sides of the floor. I understand why Kuper kills it at the high school Varsity level where she competes. First off, there is no one who can match her size most of the time. Second, she is very good at locating where a missed shot is going to come off of the rim. That was on full display this weekend and it helped her team compete in every contest they played.”
Janessa Mosley Janessa Mosley 5'7" | SG Liberty | 2025 IA – 2025 – SG – Missouri Phenom Iowa 17U (IA)
“I was somewhat familiar with the game that Mosley had but this weekend, she was super solid for her Missouri Phenom program. She was knocking down open shots on rotation, playing stingy defense in the full and half court, and she was someone that her team could trust in when the opponent brought pressure. She may not of score 20 points in a contest but her presence was felt in a number of different ways this weekend.”
Mya Jenkins – 2026 – F – Minnesota Bobcats 2026-1 (MN)
“Jenkins is someone who showed a lot of promise this weekend. She worked hard in the post, she played straight up defensively near the rim, & she showed a ton of discipline on both sides of the ball. All while standing right around 6’0. She seems to do a good job of controlling her emotions as well. She is never too high and never too low but more in the middle comparatively.”
Alaeya Randle Alaeya Randle 5'6" | PG Omaha North | 2026 NE – 2026 – PG/SG – Nebraska Hoops Elite 2026 (NE)
“This is a prospect that demonstrated a shifty handle, good decision making in crunch time, and great vision while coming down the floor this weekend. She was someone that no one could stay in front of in 1v1 matchups and she was a willing passer once she beat her initial defender off the dribble. I wasn’t too familiar with her game prior this weekend but will definitely be watching her the rest of this Spring/Summer AAU season, into the high school year.”
