In this article we highlight a few prospects from both Iowa and Nebraska, who have either recently committed or have recently been offered to play following their high school careers, specifically at Creighton University.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Over the past few days Creighton University has offered a pair of prospects out of the State of Iowa, who happen to be sisters. The first is Power Forward, Ellie Muller Ellie Muller 6’3″ | C Dowling Catholic | 2026 State IA . Muller is a 6’2 PF/Center, who has touch, length, coordination, and lot of skill to pair along with those other things. She has been a staple the past few seasons at the high school level for her Dowling Catholic program so this isn’t really too shocking of an offer. She already holds a handful of D1 offers up until this point and this AAU season with the All Iowa Attack will help that recruitment more as times moves forward. Creighton is going after a good amount of prospects from Iowa at this point and they have a good shot at landing them. This a program that has a well known foundation. If they can stay on these recruits, along with keeping their eye on some others who definitely could compete at that level, they should land some talented pieces for their future.
Norah Gessert Norah Gessert 6’0″ | PG Millard West | 2025 State NE is a Point Guard and playmaker whenever she is lacing up her kicks. As of most recent. Gessert has committed to compete with the Bluejays at the next level, after her high school career comes to a close at Millard West. There is a lot I could say about Gessert but her best ability is that she is skilled, while making everyone else around her better. She has a high motor, she is smooth in all of her movements, and she is always willing to make the extra pass to an open teammate. She is someone that can control the tempo of a ball game and she is a fantastic communicator. At the next level, I expect much of the same. She is going to be someone who can mix it up off the dribble or she can move without the ball into an easier look for herself while cutting to the hoop in some form. In the Bluejay’s system, she should thrive and I can’t wait to see it first hand.
Kate Muller, younger sister of Ellie Muller Ellie Muller 6’3″ | C Dowling Catholic | 2026 State IA , received her first D1 offer yesterday from Creighton University. This offer is going to be the first of many. Muller is a 5’11 Shooting Guard and an accurate one at that. She demonstrated this past high school season that she is a dead-eye sniper from anywhere behind the three point line. Almost to a jaw-dropping point. Once she gets a step over half-court, she is lethal while shooting the ball and that is going to translate to any collegiate floor that she may step on. She still has three more high school seasons to go but at this pace and on this trajectory, she is going to shine over these next few years and she is going to be gaining a ton of college offers in the meantime. My only constructive comment that I would make is that if she can continue to expand her game, while staying this productive, she could have every college in the country after her before we know it. She should stick with keeping her head down and working to be the best version of herself. If she does that, she is going to be just fine.
Highlights
Another huge pickup for the Bluejays comes to us in the form of the #1 Rated prospect from the 2025 Class out of Nebraska and that is Neleigh Gessert Neleigh Gessert 6’0″ | SG Millard West | 2025 State NE . Neleigh is the sister of Norah and the Scoring Guard out of the two. Neleigh is someone that can get hot in a hurry, especially from deep. She is a shooter by every term of the word. She can catch and let it go with a hand in her face or she can play off of the dribble to score from other spots at Will. If someone happens to overplay her shot, she can adapt and make the most out of the situation. The Gessert sisters are two of the biggest commitments that Creighton has coming in. They are going to be two individuals that can step on the floor and they can make an almost instant impact if put in the right situation. A situation to succeed but either way, they are going to shine from everything I have seen up until this point. They are smart players, that know how to play the game the right way and that is something that shouldn’t be under-played in this situation.
