[player_tooltip player_id='302566' first='Jemma' last='Eleby'] had another good day for Catholic. In Catholic's first game, Jemma had an all-around impressive game on offense. She dominated the offensive glass and made some great passes. She also showed off her jump shot, knocking down a few threes. She finished with 14 points, 5 assists, and 11 rebounds in a 21-point win. Against PVI in a close win, Jemma had an efficient 19 that she worked for.

Besides Catholic's first game yesterday, [player_tooltip player_id='735561' first='Lauryn' last='Loritts'] has been fantastic throughout the tourney. She has driven the ball tremendously, and after not being able to hit a jump shot yesterday, she finally found her shot a little bit today. Against TPLS, Lauryn had 15 points and knocked down 2 threes. She followed that up with another 15-point performance against PVI. Lauryn is in the class of 2028 and has looked comfortable on both days. Lauryn is a great athlete and hard to stay in front of. Her speed and skill make her a tremendous driver, and she has displayed this countless times.

Irieanna Smoots's transfer to Virginia Academy is one I loved, and she has fit in very well so far at DMVlive. She's knocked down threes and was big in VA Academy's dominance in their first two games. Irieanna scored an 18 efficient points and collected 8 rebounds in VA Academy's first game. She put together an even better showing in their second game against Good Better Best. She knocked down 3 threes and got to the line a lot. She ended with an efficient 22 points in a close game. I was interested to see how she would go from being a focal point at Osbourn to now playing with other talented players, and so far, she has fit very well.

Bailey Harris put on a show to remember against S3 Academy. She was unstoppable and dominated this game as a scorer from everywhere. She showed off her mid-range game, knocked down a few threes, and was terrific on the offensive glass. Bailey finished with 32 points and 11 rebounds in a close win over S3. Bailey has been arguably the player of this tourney so far.

The other half of this incredible St. Mary's-Annanoplis tandem is Alexandra Vandiver. She was fantastic defensively and shot the ball well again. Alexandra is a great shooter and is always active all over the court. She finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Alexandra and Bailey Harris combined for 55 of the team's 59 points. Alexandra is what you want out of a wing, with great size and great two-way ability.

Nal'la Bennett struggled to shoot the ball through the first three games Friends Central played. She found her shot in a big way in their win over Steward. She was on fire in the first half, a big reason for their first-half lead. She knocked down 8 threes total and put in a super-efficient 26 points. Nal'la does many things well besides shooting and can play either guard position. I liked her a lot at DMVlive last year, and she impressed me again this time.

Shabach Christian's defense has been super impressive so far this tourney. It's been a collective team effort, and [player_tooltip player_id='239410' first='Crystal' last='Hardy'] has been a part of it. Against St. Frances, Crystal got going early. She knocked her jump shots down and had a fantastic half. She finished with 13, which led all scorers.
