Mariah Sain Mariah Sain 5'9" | CG Muskegon | 2026 State MI 5-9-Muskegon- Michigan Crossover EYBL
Mariah has proven herself to be Michigan’s most athletic guard with the highest potential in the 2026 class. She dominated the high school scene with Muskegon, earning BCAM Best D1 honors then continued her success this spring with Michigan Crossover. Mariah has elite leaping ability, explosiveness off the dribble, combination dribbles, and three level scoring ability. Mariah has rare speed off the bounce to blow by defenders and score in the paint, but she also uses her length and pushout dribbles to separate and knock down 3s. Mariah climbed the ladder at BCAM to emphatically block a 6 footers shot on a drive and she elevated in traffic to finish amongst a sea of defenders. Mariah has cemented herself at the top of our list by making those kind of plays against college level competition during the high school and Grassroots season.
Rayah Hitt Rayah Hitt 5'8" | CG Parma Western | 2026 State MI -5-8-Parma Western- Michigan Drive Premier -S40
Rayah is one of the most natural scorers in the 2026 class and has earned her place up top with excellent high school and Grassroots seasons. Rayah has impressed our staff with her ability to shift gears off the dribble and attack downhill with a variety of combination dribbles, while also demonstrating efficiency as a 3 point shooter with deep range. Rayah finishes contested shots in the paint off two feet and can adapt her release point to score in a crowd. She keeps her eyes up and creates open shots for teammates with accurate passes when her shots aren’t there. Rayah has proven herself to be one of the best guard prospects in her class.
Christina Dixon Christina Dixon 5'10" | CG Haslett | 2026 State MI -5-10-Haslett-Mystics-P24
Christina really set herself apart during the high school season as a next level prospect by dominating on both ends against guards with college level abilities. She has an advantage against typical guards because of her length and uses her athleticism to score at will in the paint off the dribble. Christina competes with a high motor as she outworks opponents for offensive rebound put backs and flies down the floor in transition to score layups. During the playoffs last season, Christina won one on one matchups off the dribble using her crossovers and speed. She elevates on her finishes in the paint and will torch defenses with her 3 point shooting when she gets hot. Christina blocks shots on defense and has the strength to battle in the paint. She is an athletic guard for Haslett who should see an upswing in her recruiting based on her high upside and past performances.
Averie Zinn Averie Zinn 5'10" | CG Genesee | 2026 State MI -5-10-Genesee-Always 100
Averie caught the attention of our staff last winter with her high octane scoring performances and athleticism. She has added impressive defensive performances this spring during the Grassroots season to show she belongs with the best Combo Guard Prospects in Michigan. Averie has the length, ball handling, and shooting skills that give her the advantage to create space to score drives with her dribble or knock down step back 3s. What has impressed us this spring is seeing Averie use her length to pressure guards on defense, deflect passes, and block shots. Her potential as a prospect moves up as she continues to progress and impact games on the defensive end. Averie earned D3 All State honors following a historic high school campaign where she set school records at Genesee for points in a season (634), points in a game (53), and steals in a game (18).
Parc Liggins Parc Liggins 5'8" | CG Grand Blanc | 2026 State MI -5-8-Grand Blanc-Rice Basketball Academy
Parc was the Robbin to Batman last season for Grand Blanc and she played an essential role in helping the Bobcats make a deep postseason run against elite teams and compete in the D1 championship game. I coached against Parc and her ability to effectively run the 1 or play off the ball made her a great asset for GB. She has the combo moves and burst off the dribble to drive by defenders and finish, while also having great balance to knock down 3s or mid-range pullup jumpers. Parc uses solid technique guarding the ball on defense and creates turnovers. She delivers accurate passes and makes smart decisions with the basketball. Parc is extremely underrated as a prospect and she is going to become the leader this season for Grand Blanc.
New Additions
Jenessa Eagle Jenessa Eagle 5'8" | CG Ishpeming | 2026 State MI -5-8-Ishpeming- Great Northern Elite
Jenessa is one of Michigan’s best guard prospects who you may have never heard of unless you sat in the Breslin Center last March. She is extremely athletic and competes with a relentless motor on both ends of the court. Jenessa was crucial to Ishpeming winning the D4 state championship, contributing 41 points with 9 assists in two games. She chased down ball handlers and elevated to block shots on defense. Jenessa uses a variety of attack moves to blow by defenders and score at the rim, but is equally effective catching fire from 3 and taking over games. Jenessa earned D4 All-State 2nd team honors following her winter season. She continued to demonstrate her next level abailities with Great Northern Elite this spring and is a Yooper Hooper who we have identified as not only deserving a ranking, but being placed with some of our best guards.
Sophia Beland Sophia Beland 5'9" | CG Dewitt | 2026 State MI -5-9-Dewitt-Mid-Michigan-Excel
Sophia put herself on the map this spring by competing well against elite talent at a number of Grassroots tournaments for Mid-Michigan-Excel. She plays with high effort on defense to pressure the ball and create steals. Sophia has been guarded by athletic guards and demonstrated the ball handling control to create space to pass, shoot, attack downhill, and run the offense. She has a burst off the bounce on her drives and finishes in traffic. Sophia has stepped into a larger roles at Dewitt and is a prospect I look forward to seeing catch attention this high school season.
