NCISAA Team Camp: 2026/2027s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>NCISAA hosted their team camp this weekend at Wesleyan Christian.  I was able to catch some games on the second day of the event, so let's dive right in to the 2026 and 2027s defense to strip the ball away from her opponents.  She was making some nice cuts to the basket sneaking behind her opponents or cutting across the baseline to get the pass.  She can score against anyone fighting through contact when needed, and she always moves quickly making nice decisions to get her teammates involved.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- hitting back to back buckets, one from deep and one banking it in from the paint.  She moves well with the ball finding the opening, and she knows how to get into open space looking for the pass.  She was doing a nice job finding her open teammates in the paint.  Her ability to drop long passes right into the hands of her teammates flashing up the court is definitely fun to watch.  Her ball fakes running at full speed are certain to get a play going for her team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block right in with her new team putting on some tough pressure on defense grabbing steals from the top of the key or on a press.  She has a nice shot from deep, and she sees the floor well being able to skip some passes or hit her teammates cutting to the basket.  She uses the clock well knowing when she can slow things down or needs to speed it up hitting a nice quick stop for two points at the buzzer to end the first half.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block show her up tempo style of play pushing the ball up the court and finding her open teammates or taking it all the way herself.  She has a nice shot from deep, and she can find her teammates for their own points hitting them with a perfect pass as they flash to the basket.  She gets inside for post moves, too, showing off some nice up and unders to get her points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!--
