[player_tooltip player_id='315778' first='Neleigh' last='Gessert'] has been a respectable leader this AAU season on the road while competing with her ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB 17U team. On a team and within a program with a good amount of high level prospects, Neleigh is one of their best. She is a lethal scoring threat standing at 6'0, who can produce on or off of the ball. She can matchup against anyone her size or a little bit bigger, staying in front of them at a higher rate than most for her size. This is going to be a fun Senior season to watch for the Gessert Twins. If their team returns and competes as hard as they truly can, they will win most of their contests leading to State once again this 2024-2025 Winter season.

On the other side of Neleigh is [player_tooltip player_id='315777' first='Norah' last='Gessert']. Norah plays more of the passing role in this situation, always making the prospects around her look amazing because of her willingness to sacrifice, setting everyone up for success. This AAU season has been just as good for Norah as it has been for Neleigh. With both being college committed, all they have to worry about is becoming the best versions of themselves. Something that they continue to prove night in and night out while they take the floor. Hopefully they can bring home an Adidas title over this next month but if not, they should keep their heads high looking to make a statement this upcoming season after coming off of a State Title.

[player_tooltip player_id='276516' first='Molly' last='Ladwig'] has continued to pick up momentum ever since she hit the high school Varsity floor from an early age. Since she has seemingly continued to compete to her highest ability, landing her into the #3 spot in this 2025 Ranking Update. Ladwig is a thorough Combo Guard. She has proven that she can knock down shots, she is willing to make the extra pass to another teammate if she doesn't have a clean look, and she is crafty enough to score at the rim if she see's a weakness in the defense off the drive. Ladwig and her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] UAA team won a National Title a year ago on the Under Armour circuit and they are look to repeat. Something that is more than possible after seeing how well they have done up to this point in the year. This is a future D1 collegiate prospect with a good amount of offer thus far so if everyone plays their game, the results should follow.

[player_tooltip player_id='766565' first='Myleigh' last='Weers'] is one of the best, hard-nosed Point Guards that the state of Nebraska has to offer from any Class or age level. She is a beast. That's the best way to put it. This is someone that can score in every way imaginable. She is very good at killing her competing while attacking off the dribble but if they happen to cut her off, she has experienced counter moves to get around them for an easy lay at the rim. She has also demonstrated that she can knock down shots from behind the three point line at a consistent rate, making herself a nightmare for someone who is defending her, trying to stay in front of her for a whole contest. Weers is committed to compete at Nebraska Kearney following her high school career. She should see the floor right away given her skill set but we will have to see how that plays out in due time.

[player_tooltip player_id='305778' first='Avril' last='Smith'] of Millard North has a high ceiling on the basketball court when you take into consideration her size at 6'0, athletic ability, and physical prowess near the basket. Smith is someone that can punish down low or she can step out and move around the perimeter to help spread the floor, all while being a better than adequate rebounder. If Smith is motivated and has good guidance to understand situations moving forward, she is going to be a lot to handle on any court she competes on. This July is going to be a big one for everyone on this ETG Midwest 3SSB team. If they can play their best, they will have a chance to bring home an Adidas National Title before the month of July comes to an end and that will bring in even more collegiate interest to everyone on this roster.
