By the end of this Fall, everyone on the Iowa Dream 2025 AAU Team is going to be college committed for the most part to play collegiate ball in some form and that's awesome to see. Their most recent prospect to commit is their Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='671465' first='Claire' last='Lueken'] of Wahlert Catholic. Wahlert Catholic is solid every season and the past few years the reason because for that is partly due to the production of Lueken for them near the block. The past three Varsity seasons, she has made an impact with her team's and I expect more of that to finish off her high school career the next eight months. With being committed now, she has a lot of pressure off of her so now she can loosen up and just make some things happen, hopefully leading them to a big Playoff run before things come to a close.

Another Top 25 rated prospect out of the 2025 Class in Iowa is off the board after [player_tooltip player_id='311361' first='Finley' last='Blackmore'] committed to D2 - Western Colorado last week. Blackmore is a SG with better than average size, that is going to be a vital piece to her Ankney Centennial High School's Varsity success this upcoming Winter during her Season season. [player_tooltip player_id='311377' first='Mya' last='Crawford'] and [player_tooltip player_id='311360' first='Jaeden' last='Pratt'] are going to bring a lot of attention to themselves per usual so as long as Blackmore can step up and capitalize on her opportunities, they are going to be a group that has a lot of offensive weapons with some stout defenders. As for the next level, Blackmore is going to have to find time on the floor by knocking down catch-and-shoot jumpers, as well as playing stingy defense. If she can do that, she is going to be hard to pull off the court once she is in their regular rotation down the line.

One of the biggest winners out of the state of Nebraska comes to us in the form of PG, [player_tooltip player_id='316682' first='Maya' last='Dolliver'] of Pender High School and [program_tooltip program_id='715717' first='Nebraska' last='Supreme'] AAU. Dolliver is a savvy guard with a lot of experience in the department of winning and how to handle pressure at some of the highest degrees. Following her Senior season with the Pendragons, she will join D2 - Sioux Falls in South Dakota to continue on her basketball journey. I'm not sure what the Cougars future roster will look like at that time but whatever role is given to Dolliver, she will thrive at. She has proven that she can lead a team in any form/facet and I can't wait to see that at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='359849' first='Brylee' last='Nelsen'] just recently committed to compete on the D2 Volleyball floor with the UNK Loopers after her Senior year at Millard North but that doesn't change the fact that she is a Top 50 ranking prospect out of the state in Basketball, who will be important to her team's success this Winter. The Millard North Mustangs didn't finish their season last year like they wanted to but they will return with vengeance. They do lose [player_tooltip player_id='276517' first='Rylee' last='McLucas'] to transfer out of state so that just means that Nelsen will have even more of a role than before. An opportunity I'm sure she can thrive at.

The Algona Bulldogs are going to return their top 3/4 producers from a year ago, in attempts to make a big run this upcoming Winter season before they lose their 2025 Class due to graduation. Until that happens, their #1 offense option and rebounder will return from last season in Small Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='671468' first='Lauren' last='McLaughlin']. McLaughlin stands at 6'1 and she averaged 15 PPG, 8 RPG, and 2.1 APG during her 2023-2024 campaign. With this production and her competitive contests on the AAU floor with her AIA program as of late, she has just committed to attend D3 - Wartburg for her collegiate career. As long as she works on expanding her game, tightening her handle, and finds her niche within the program, she should produce in the future whenever she gets on the floor.
