Here is a look at five athletes who excelled at shooting from deep last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='351760' first='Asia' last='Lee'], 5'10”, CG, Olathe North, ‘26

There are several reasons that Lee is currently ranked No. 1 overall in the class of 2026 by Prep Girls Hoops. One of those is her ability to score from deep. Lee finished her sophomore season connecting on 63-of-175 three-point attempts during the 2023-2024 season. She scored 19.2 points per game and four rebounds per contest for the Eagles.

Kinzee Bauerle, 5'7”, SG, Atchison County, ‘25

One unranked prospect who had an impressive scoring season from deep last year was Tigers' athlete Bauerle. She shot 39 percent from downtown as a junior connecting on 48-of-122 three-point field goal attempts. She is a consistent and accurate shooter who shot 73 percent from the free throw line and 43 percent from the field. The ACHS prospect scored 16.6 points per game as a junior and has seen her scoring totals increase each season and has played in 64 total varsity games.

[player_tooltip player_id='822629' first='Taylor' last='Bosley'], 5'7”, PG, Jackson Heights, ‘25

Bosley is a tough athlete for the Cobras. I watched her play one game last season and she hit two 3-pointers in the contest. She would go on to connect on 40 more 3-point field goals and finished her junior season with 42 total three-point buckets in 21 games. She has a nice all-around game averaging 7.9 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per contest. Bosley is currently ranked No. 120 overall in the class of 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='525605' first='Imani' last='McGlory'], 5'7”, SG, Topeka West, ‘26

McGlory is a prospect who can play at the next level and could be a perfect fit for NAIA coaches looking for a pure shooter. Prep Girls Hoops Kansas currently has her ranked No. 75 overall in the class of 2026. The young Charger guard scored 13.3 points per game as a sophomore and made 41 total 3-pointers in 21 games.

[player_tooltip player_id='317352' first='Mary' last='Grant'], 5'8”, SG, Bishop Miege, ‘26

PGH scout Robert Kelly had this to say about Miege's Grant in March: “She scores the ball well and is regarded as a very good perimeter defender…” She made 41 field goals from the perimeter shooting 36 percent from 3-point land. She averaged 15.2 points per game for the Stags and chipped in 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and two steals per contest. Grant is currently ranked No. 6 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026.
