With volleyball and football season just a couple of sleeps away, the Captain has not watched much basketball.

However, I took some time to watch some film and dig into who in the Prep Girls Hoops nation needed some coverage.

Here are four athletes who have not been featured in the past six months. Welcome to the Coverage Club ladies.

[player_tooltip player_id='906867' first='Alaina' last='Schwisow'], 5'6”, PFG, Basehor-Linwood, ‘26

Schwisow is currently ranked No. 70 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 and has not been featured in the past six months. She is a three-sport athlete for the Bobcats and plays club ball with the St. Joe Phenom. She is a quick guard who can score from distance but is also excellent in transition. She can control the pace of a game for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='881007' first='Macy' last='Kaminkow'], 5'11”, PF, Moundridge, ‘26

Kaminkow is a three-sport athlete for the Moundridge Wildcats. She is currently ranked No. 103 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. She averaged eight points and 7.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore. She will get the bulk of her points in the paint and she shot an impressive 46 percent from the field last season. Heading into her junior season I would like to see her improve her aggressiveness in the paint and get to the free throw-line more frequently. She shot just 69 free throws as a sophomore, but she converted 67 percent of those shots from the charity stripe.

[player_tooltip player_id='897676' first='Brynlee' last='Wolfe'], 5'7”, SG, Marysville, ‘27

Prep Girls Hoops currently has Marysville's Wolfe on its watch list. She is a pure shooter who can really catch and release. I watched some video on her HUDL account and was impressed with her feistiness on defense. She is a three-level scorer who can convert from deep or score against defenders off the dribble-drive.

[player_tooltip player_id='932962' first='Jadyn' last='Crosby'], 5'11”, SF, Larned, ‘27

Crosby is another prospect sitting on the watch list heading into her sophomore season. She is quick for her size and can step out and pop the three. She can go to the rim with either hand and is a solid rebounder. The Larned Indian should continue to improve as she gets more playing time and game experience.
