After putting together her best season to date on the hardwood, [player_tooltip player_id='311363' first='Libby' last='Fandel'] grabbed a handful of Power-5 offers competing with her [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 17U EYBL team but the one that really stuck with her was her visit to Kansas. This visit locked in Fandel to compete after her Senior season at Xavier in Cedar Rapids with the Saints. This is a "quite" pick-up for the Jayhawks but a good one at that. Fandel brings a uniformed shooting ability from any distance on the floor offensively, while having good size on defense to match-up with a range of different types of opponents. She should see some minutes right away as a Freshman. If she does, she can work from there and continue to expand her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='311353' first='Tillie' last='Smith'] of Ankeny Centennial High School is their second prospect to commit to the next level within the past week with her commitment to Grand View out of Des Moines. Smith will basically get to stay at home with this commitment and I think that's something that was really important to her. She is a smaller PG, that certainly can hold her own. She handles pressure with a calm demeanor, she sets up others to make them better around her, and she seems to move effortlessly down the floor. She will have to continue to work if she wants to see the court at the next level but it's more than possible at this point. It'll be awesome to see what she can make happen but first, I'm sure she is going to worry about the Winter season ahead with her Ankeny Centennial team. A group that now has four college committed prospects who will see the Varsity floor these next few months.

We haven't touched on Michaela Trask of Mason City this year yet but she is going to be someone this Winter that helps Mason City High School light it up from all over the hardwood. Trask competes with Mason City for school ball and Lady Martin Bros Select for AAU. On both teams, she is looked upon as a leader by example. Other than being able to knock down shots or get the bucket off the dribble and being pretty skilled on that side of things, Trask leads with her communication, self-sacrifice, and love for the game. You can tell that she wants the success on the floor for the others around her, not herself and those turn out to be the best prospects/teammates at the end of the day. Coach Vaught at NIACC is the real deal so once he finds out how Trask fits within his system, I'm sure she will thrive because of the mixture of her ability and her niche within the Trojans program.

One of the higher ranking PG's throughout the 2025 Class is [player_tooltip player_id='311391' first='Morgan' last='Miller'] of Regina Catholic. Miller has been a difference maker on every court she has stepped onto since about her Sophomore year of high school ball. This is a guard with a calculated playstyle, smooth looking shot from deep, a quick trigger when letting it go in any way offensively, and a creative passer in both the full and half-courts. Following her Senior year with the Regals, Miller will take her talents to Truman State to compete with Coach Dean and the Bulldogs. This is a really well ran program, that does things the right way so it's a win-win situation. By the time that Miller gets to the roster, she will have a chance to step up and make an instant impact. Something definitely doable if you understand Miller's skill-set and history.

[player_tooltip player_id='311368' first='Breckyn' last='Schilling'] of North Mahaska High School has been a highly ranked and sought after prospect out of Iowa ever since she was a Freshman on the Varsity floor. This past week, Schilling took a trip out West and ended up finalizing her commitment to D2 - Western Colorado following her high school career. This is a solid pick up and relationship for both parties from an outside point-of-view. As a player, Schilling has length, athleticism, a solid skill set, and she has knowledge in the aspects of the X's and O's of the game. As long as she can get on campus and continue to work relentlessly, she should be seeing the collegiate floor before you know it but only time will tell.
