She's a fearless competitor that mixes it up on defense. Ball plays with speed. She gets to the basket in transition, makes the right pass and can shoot the three. I was wildly impressed with how well she played in a loss to North Hall. Riley is a strong athlete with a smooth feel for the game. Taylor hit a handful of threes and showed wiggle when getting to the hoop. She didn't see any varsity minutes as a freshman, but she has too much skill to not be a difference maker in Year 2. Coppin State, Jackson State and Northeastern have all already offered the potential unicorn. At 6-foot-3, Adams has elite size and length but also has guard skills and a pretty shooting stroke. She can play on the perimeter, make passes out of the high post and of course dominate games defensively. Julie was tenacious defending full court. Her quickness to diagnose plays and her smooth shooting stroke led to a big game.
