Breakout Seasons Expected for These Forwards

There are many ways for these players to breakout, whether on the defensive end, the offensive end, or the scoring end. In travel ball, the young power forward was a beast in all phases of the game. She can score, rebound, handle the ball, defend, and run the floor. Desjarlaius plays a physical game and can mix it up in the paint. She is also versatile enough to play on the wing, attack the rim, and shoot the short range jumper. She has all of the tangibles: great length, can run the floor, and can score inside. Boone demonstrated her skillset last year at several showcases and showed that can handle the ball and score inside. With hardwork and confidence, Boone will be an impactful and breakout player this upcoming season. Henderson has a career average of 7.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Henderson has the size, physicality, and the agility to get any position she wants down low. The power forward-center knows hot to score the basketball and when she is fully extended, there is not much a defender can do down low. On the defensive end, Henderson is a shot blocking machine. She is also a force on the offensive glass. Last season, Henderson led her team to a District championship. Chandler scored most of her points in the paint and in the transition game. This past travel season, Chandler showed great improvement to her game. The young power forward shot the ball well from the midrange and developed a nice turn around jumper in the paint and on the baseline. Chandler's game also grew in the leadership department. A college coach once stated that once her game matured, she was going to be a problem. Berry has been part of a State Championship team for the past few years. The versatile forward will look to have a breakout season, and judging from her performance over the summer, it should all work out. Berry has been known for her power down on the blocks, but over the summer, she also ran the point and played out on the wing. Berry shot the three point well and got to the rim with the aid of her athleticism. Johnson can score on the perimeter and in transition. She is one of the top offensive players who has an elite back to the basket game. Johnson is athletic and her footwork allows her to position herself for quality shots in the paint. &nbsp; Johnson was unstoppable at times during the State playoffs. The Freshman center has an all around game and a very high basketball IQ. Crawford can score on the inside and for a player so young, she has a lot of scoring moves and very good footwork. Crawford has great court vision and can pass the ball from the post and pick a defense apart.
