Prep Girls Hoops Oklahoma Expo All Showcase Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's take a quick look at the Top 6 from this past weekend PGH Oklahoma Expo hosted at The Hive in Edmond. Several of these young ladies have made the transfer to new programs and are looking to have break out years. I can say that all of these players are already receiving interest from colleges. Hannah stood out due to her versatility, footwork and strong skill set. A forward that knocked down the 3 point shot showing that she is very capable for playing the 3 spot. The patience she plays with in the block area is nice to watch. Showed about 3-4 moves with solid footwork inside the pain. A 2026 that has taken several unofficial visits this summer. Locust Grove is loaded with tall skilled players. Fun to watch her play ball as she seems to have fun setting up the defense for the nice assist. Great up tempo point that can slide her way through the defense gaps for a layup. Great vision on reading the defense. A 2025 that should have the opportunity to play at the next level. I had seen Anabelle in early March and since then her game has really developed. A very strong small forward that banged inside all day with the post and held her ground. Offensively she able to score in many ways. Mid range jumper was on point as so was her post up game. Definity has worked on her speed as she seemed much faster u and down the court making her a vital part of the transition game. Excellent cutter away from the ball scoring on several easy layups. A good shooter on the outside opened up the driving lanes for her. Including receiving a offer right after a event few months back. Is a scoring threat at all times as she can knock down the outside shot, has great handles and knows how to use her body to protect the shot on the drives. The change of speed at which she plays with is what caught my attention. Pushes the tempo with the pass on open breaks throwing a dart to the teammate filling the lane. Listed at 5'9. she has great size for the combo guard spot. A shooter that was on fire in the 5/5 game I was able to watch play. Impressive was her shooting ability coming off the ball screens. Shooting on top of the screen or turning the corner for the pull up jumpers. Also impressive is her lift on her shot. It is high and the point of release is at the top of her shot.
