Saturday, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana held its first ever Sophomore ID Camp to help identify and showcase several of the state's top Sophomores. With 84 prospects from the 2027 class in attendance, this provided an opportunity to see them compete head-to-head, as well as together, in a combination of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games. The event was loaded with talent, making it difficult to limit the strong play to just a handful of players, so I wanted to circle back and discuss everyone from Teams 3 & 4. There will be additional articles highlighting Teams 5-10 over the next couple of days.

#47 [player_tooltip player_id='932690' first='Sadey' last='Ringler'], 5-9 SG, West Lafayette Harrison H.S. - [see her review here]

#474 [player_tooltip player_id='992531' first='Emily' last='Spainhour'], 5-9 SF/PF, New Albany H.S. - Emily is a really nice Southern Indiana forward. She is undersized in some matchups, however, she is tough-nosed, physical, hard-working, and she is building her skillset. She has moved from around the block to more of a mid-post threat.

#481 [player_tooltip player_id='989366' first='Annika' last='Smith'], 5-8 SG, Bloomington H.S. South - This was my first time seeing Annika, and she is definitely intriguing. She has length, she's a nice all-around athlete, and she's fast. She has a solid skillset as well, so once she gets a little stronger, I think it will help her be more consistent.

#483 [player_tooltip player_id='992536' first='Imani' last='Powers'], 5-5 SG, Valparaiso H.S. - Imani is a really nice little athlete. She reminds me of a track athlete. She is more of an attacker from the wing offensively, but she is also a high-level on-ball defender who can bother most ball-handlers.

#484 [player_tooltip player_id='992546' first='Shanelle' last='Jones'], 5-5 CG, New Albany H.S. - I really like Shanelle's potential, and I thought she had a nice Saturday. She is an athlete, she's somewhat bouncy, plus she has nice length. I thought she handled the ball with poise, and she was active defensively.

#602 [player_tooltip player_id='736459' first='Izzy' last='Silcox'], 5-7 SG, Greenfield-Central H.S. - Izzy is a really nice guard prospect. She has length, an athletic frame, and she's smooth & fluid in most directions. She has touch outside, but she can put it on the floor and get to the basket. She could put up some good numbers this Winter.

#662 [player_tooltip player_id='751053' first='Ellie' last='Wheeler'], 5-5 SG, Westfield H.S. - Ellie has broad shoulders, nice length, plus she's a solid all-around athlete. She has North/South speed, she plays with a strong motor, plus she continues to do a nice job of building her skillset.

#703 [player_tooltip player_id='751035' first='Alexis' last='Finchum'], 5-4 PG, Charlestown H.S. - [see her review here]

Team #4:

#25 [player_tooltip player_id='751074' first='Jayann' last='Youngblood'], 5-8 SG, Mooresville H.S. - Jayann is one of those guards who is not necessarily elite at any one thing but solid at most things. She has length, a nice perimeter jumper; she just needs to continue getting stronger and finish growing.

#441 [player_tooltip player_id='989342' first='Novea' last='Brandon'], 5-8 PG, Chesterton H.S. - Novea has done a really nice job of developing her point guard game over the past couple of years. Her ball skill is solid, plus she can knock down open rhythm shots. She is long, wiry, and fluid/smooth.

#460 [player_tooltip player_id='899127' first='Gina' last='Grote'], 5-5 SG, Oldenburg Academy - Gina has broad shoulders, nice strength at her size, and she plays low to the ground. She has an outstanding motor, makes a lot of hustle plays, and shows quite a bit of a quiet toughness that helped her team Saturday.

#471 [player_tooltip player_id='751087' first='Kendal' last='Price'], 5-6 PG, Mooresville H.S. - [see her review here]

#475 [player_tooltip player_id='992537' first='Jayden' last='Hildebrand'], 5-10 SF/PF, Northeastern H.S. - Jayden is a hard-working, wiry-strong forward who has the versatility to play inside-out. She's probably a bit more comfortable in the mid-post right now, plus she contributes a lot of hustle plays to her team.

#476 [player_tooltip player_id='969802' first='Rilynn' last='Williams'], 5-6 SG, Bloomington H.S. North - Rilynn is a long, wiry wing guard who plays with a nice motor. In the game I saw, she was burying shots from the perimeter and looked smooth doing so. As she continues getting stronger, she should improve her range and consistency.

#603 [player_tooltip player_id='992524' first='Addison' last='Petro'], 5-9 SF, Jennings County H.S. - Addison is yet another long, fluidly athletic wing who plays with a balanced skillset. As she continues to get stronger and absorb contact better, she should be a more consistent scorer. She can knock down a rhythm jumper or attack the basket.

#605 [player_tooltip player_id='751098' first='London' last='Gilley'], 5-11 SG/SF, Washington H.S. - [see her review here]

#907 [player_tooltip player_id='992527' first='Arianna' last='Harrington'], 5-8 SG, North Central H.S. (Indianapolis) - [see her review here]
