Pelzer is back in the maroon and gold this season after averaging 9.9 ppg and 4.1 rebounds a season ago. </p>

<p><strong>Calhoun Academy</strong>: The Lady Cavaliers had a rough season last year and finished (2-17). </p>

<p><strong>Calhoun County HS</strong>: The Lady Saints will rely on youngster <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1040957' first='Cassidy' last='Pough']</strong> down in the middle this season. Pough just a sophomore averaged 8.1 ppg, 8.8 rebounds and 3.1 steals as a All-Region performer a season ago. Cassidy also plays volleyball and runs track in the spring.</p>

<p><strong>Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS</strong>: The Lady Trojans (17-6) a season ago have a solid 1-2 punch in senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='589678' first='Tilayiza' last='Youmans'] </strong>and freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='838330' first='Aysiah' last='Bonaparte']</strong>. Youmans a very well-rounded athlete plays 4 sports at H-K-T averaged 17.7 ppg, 8.7 rebounds and 4.5 steals a season ago. Tilayiza is a very athletic player who likes to play the game in attack mode at times. </p>

<p><strong>Lake Marion HS (Santee)</strong>: The Lady Gators will look for <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1040958' first='Harmony' last='McCaskill']</strong> an incoming freshman to provide scoring punch. Harmony averaged 7.2 ppg last season as an 8th grader. <strong>Teonna Allen</strong> is back for her senior season after averaging 7 ppg, 4.6 rebounds and 3 assists last season. </p>

<p><strong>North HS</strong>: The Lady Eagles and Head Coach I'rek Hartwell finished just (6-15) last season. This off season the Lady Eagles added<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='405365' first='Kailen' last='Parks']</strong> from Lexington HS. Parks really needs to stay healthy for the Lady Eagles this season. Her father Keith directs the boy's basketball program at North HS. Parks brings the ability to score the ball inside-out at times to the table. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='840353' first='Alayshia' last='Mack']</strong> a junior averaged 11.8 ppg last season while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='823921' first='Amariyah' last='Calloway']</strong> 6.8 ppg and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='582734' first='Coco' last='Charley']</strong> 5.6 ppg saw plenty of action. The Lady Eagles will have plenty of scoring opportunities this coming season and will surely improve on that record from a season ago.</p>

<p><strong>Orangeburg Prep</strong>: The Lady Indians lost in the SCISA State Tourney last season to John Paul II 46-41. The Lady Indians finished (20-1) under longtime Head Coach Jan Stoudenmire. Who will step up and lead the way this season for Orangeburg Prep? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='460546' first='Jane' last='Walker Yonce']</strong> is back for her senior season. Count on this though expect to see the Lady Indians in every game this season with the unselfish play and team concept that Stoudenmire has in her program.</p>

Head Coach Cedrick Simpson will have to find some scoring production this season. Post [player_tooltip player_id='452368' first='<strong>Divona' last='Rumph</strong>'] will have to step up her game to provide more scoring production from inside the paint. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='452371' first='Harmoni' last='Williams']</strong> will be a name to watch from the backcourt this season. </p>
