Jakiah has been a heavily recruited point guard in the 2025 class and she showed exactly why at The Expo on Saturday. Jakiah shot efficiently from 3-point range off the catch and the dribble, but also beat defenders off the dribble to finish shots at the rim. Her relentless effort, communication, control handling the ball, and defensive presence also set her apart. Jakiah displayed a college-level understanding of ball movement, tempo, and making passes to open teammates. She earned All-Showcase First Team Honors and my pick for Most Valuable Prospect. I am very excited to see where she decides to play at the college level.

Elise came to The Expo on Saturday and put on a point guard clinic that earned her First Team All-Showcase Honors. She made lightning-quick passes and reads with the ball in her hands that created scoring opportunities for her entire team. Elise competed sideline to sideline, stripping the ball away on defense several times, crashing hard for an offensive rebound putback, and taking a charge. Elise drilled 3s from the corner and wing, also blowing by defenders off the dribble. Elise demonstrated abilities and a style of play at her position that translates to the college level.

Analiya has offensive firepower that takes over games when she gets cooking and she went off at The Expo on Saturday. Analiya has smooth handles and balance when she shoots off the dribble. Her perimeter jumper was lights out and she knifed through defenders attacking downhill to score at the rim. Analiya dished accurate passes to teammates; her effectiveness created offense for herself and her teammates. Analiya had a dominant day, which earned her First Team All-Showcase Honors.

Madisyn used her quickness and aggression to gain the advantage against guards on both sides of the floor. She beat defenders off the dribble and scored a layup over a help defender using a crafty high pick-up move. Madisyn created transition offense for her team by creating turnovers defending the ball. She knocked down multiple 3s off ball screens from the perimeter and had an all-around solid performance at The Expo on Saturday, earning her All-Showcase Second Team Honors.

Sanyiah has shifty handles and quick steps that make her a challenging matchup on both ends of the court. She created separation with her dribble and crashed for an offensive rebound to cause a jump ball. Sanyiah gave her team an advantage in transition with her speed and elevated off two feet to score over a defender using the glass. Sanyiah doubled the ball over half court, batted down the pass, ripped the ball away, and dished a crisp bounce pass to her teammate for the assist. Sanyiah added shots from the perimeter and had a solid day at The Expo on Saturday, earning her All-Showcase Second Team Honors.

Tamia was an asset at The Expo on Saturday because of her relentless defensive pressure and versatility on the offensive end. She wreaked havoc on opposing ball handlers with her quick lateral movement, balanced stance, and cat-like reflexes swiping the ball away. Tamia beat defenders off the dribble and either scored in traffic or dished accurate passes for assists to her teammates. She knocked down shots on the perimeter and put herself on the map with her strong performance. Tamia grabbed the audiences attention and earned All-Showcase Second Team Honors in the process.

Jaila was one of the most impressive athletes at The Expo on Saturday. Her combination of speed and physicality put her on another level at the event. She demonstrated combination dribbles and ball-handling control that resulted in many drives by defenders for buckets at the rim. Jaila blocked shots with authority in the paint, finished strong off two feet in contested situations, and outworked her opponents for offensive rebounds. Jaila had an outstanding day and earned herself All-Showcase Second Team Honors as a result.

Lilly made the most of her opportunities at The Expo on Saturday and she showed her versatility to succeed in several aspects of the game. Lilly used her length and awareness to steal the ball on defense and she battled to secure rebounds. Lilly knocked down outside shots and aggressively drove by defenders to score tough layups with either hand. Her vision and execution on the court with her passes created offense for others. Lilly had a great performance once again this year and earned herself All-Showcase Second Team Honors.
