Monday means a new rankings update, and today, we're looking at the rising sophomore class in Wisconsin. A few kids have taken a step forward in the past year and helped this class become comparable to the 2025 group. Let's do the Top Ten and Next Ten articles this Monday morning.

A name that was the talk of the town during Run 4 Roses, [player_tooltip player_id='764935' first='Jada' last='Seubert'] made herself into a household name in July. The lefty showed an excellent burst with the ball in her hands, scored from all three levels, defended well at the point of attack, and played with an attitude to close out the EYBL season. The SPASH guard quickly drew the attention of P4 programs after her month of July. The rising sophomore is also coming off a Wisconsin Valley Conference Player of the Year award as a newcomer last season.

The 6'0 Kimberly wing played for the highly successful [program_tooltip program_id='715882' first='Wisconsin' last='Flight Elite'] 15U team that has competed and made a name for themselves nationally. Van Vonderan came off the bench and thrived for a loaded Papermaker team in her first high school season and was trusted to make plays down the stretch of important games. She's never been shy of massive moments and made some of her most memorable plays in games against programs like Pewaukee, Neenah, and Hortonville. She's another one to expect to see playing on TV once she wraps up her Kimberly career.

Possibly my favorite player in this class, [player_tooltip player_id='764918' first='Anna' last='Miller'] quickly asserted herself as one of the top guards in the state last season. The Edgewood guard led the Crusaders to their first state title since 2017 and willed them over the line with an extraordinary second-half performance against Xavier. Miller's ability to orchestrate an offense and routinely find her team good shots will get the most out of her teammates and program over the next three seasons.

There's a case that Alic has the highest ceiling in this class, and I wouldn't argue. The Oshkosh North wing is among the most athletic kids in this class, and you can see flashes of a skillset that could help her land at a P4 somewhere. You won't find many kids who can create off the dribble, make shots from weird angles, and impact a game defensively like Alic. She's grown as a player so much in the past twelve months.

Everyone has told me that Kardyn is a mixture of her two older sisters, Kamy and Kallie. She has the poise of Kallie with the mentality of Kamy. She never looks rushed on the floor like Kallie but has a competitive edge to her game like Kamy. Peppler played some of her best basketball in the postseason and was a massive reason Hortonville won the FVA outright last season. In year two for Peppler, she'll have to do even more with the crop of seniors that left the Polar Bears in the spring.

Injury cut short what seemed to be a promising freshman campaign for LaBlanc. The Hudson native came down to the Milwaukee area with the Raiders and pushed a talented Hartford team to the brink behind an outstanding performance from LaBlanc. The lefty showed that she could hurt teams from all three levels on the offensive end of the floor, and her ability to attack off the dribble made her more dynamic than just about anyone on the floor.

The Kimberly wing was perfect alongside anyone the Papermakers threw on the floor. Dulas is a defensive-minded wing who could score but was comfortable as a catch-and-shoot or offensive rebounding kid to get her points, which made things work for Kimberly last season. She ended up being a starter for her team because of all the things she did outside of scoring alongside some of their talented scorers. She's a selfless kid who can find a role to help a team win games anywhere.

The 6'1 Poynette wing/forward was excellent for the Pumas in her first season. She averaged a double-double and helped the Pumas earn their first regional crown since 2020. She shot the ball well as a first option for the Pumas in the Capitol Conference. She'll be a Player of the Year caliber kid each year she stays there, barring anything crazy. She's that talented and challenging to defend.

The most explosive guard in Wisconsin's 2027 class is [player_tooltip player_id='751287' first='Tessa' last='Bryan']. Her ability to get up and down the floor can break defenses' minds in five minutes. Most kids can't defend a kid sprinting at them every time down the floor. She's a kid who's looked better in Pewaukee's fall league, and everyone around her at workouts has raved about how much Bryan got over the AAU season. The dynamic speed, scoring, and ability to flip games playing in passing lanes is what she does best.

The Appleton native can score in bunches and looked at home playing an age level up in EYBL last summer. I thought she was the most consistent scorer I saw on her team, and her ability to knock down shots in bunches drew opposing defense's attention quickly. Sweeney has a smooth style to her game and makes everything look easy, like shooting 40% from the three-point line last season. The Appleton East guard is among the most dynamic kids in the talented FVA this season.
