Ja'Niyah Corbin is a young guard who played well during the FABC Showcase in Gainesville. Corbin showcased very good speed and was a force in the transition game. She was a versatile player with the ball in her hand and on the wing without the ball. Corbin has the ability to get downhill and to the rim. Against slower defenders, she has the ability to blow by the defender with her speed. She is also very savvy and can use a defender's speed and aggression against them with a spin in the opposite direction. Corbin played varsity last season as an 8th grader and averaged 5 points per game and knocked down 12 threes at a 54 percent clip.

[player_tooltip player_id='400803' first='Trinidy' last='Harris'] is one of the top guards in the 2025 class and is definitely a prospect to pay attention to. She is an aggressive point guard who places a premium on scoring the ball. She scores the ball in addition to handling the normal point guard duties: handling the ball and distributing the ball to her teammates so they can score. Harris is versatile, athletic, and crafty. She has a natural feel for the game. Her game is predicated on her speed on the court and change of direction. Harris can shoot the three-point shot, but she is at her best when on the attack. Harris is savvy with it and can score on the short middy and shoot floaters in the paint. Harris can really handle the ball and does a good job of beating defenders off the dribble and maneuvering through presses with her speed and handles.

[player_tooltip player_id='646515' first='Zoey' last='Brown'] is another young player to keep an eye on this upcoming season. Brown also stood out at the FABC Showcase and put a lot of players and coaches on notice. She will be a young player to reckon with this upcoming season. Brown can get to the rim with good speed. She also possesses good handles and is a crafty and very dependable scorer when attacking the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='495953' first='Jiyah' last='Hamilton'] is a prospect to watch this upcoming season. Hamilton has garnered interest from a lot of schools in the region with her play from the point guard position. She is a selfless, team-first guard who is a playmaker out there on the floor. She gets into the paint and can put the pass where her teammates can score. Hamilton can shoot the three, has a nice midrange shot, and can also get to the rim and score. Hamilton averaged four assists per game and knocked down 14 threes. Defense is an area where Hamilton also shines. College coaches have marveled at her quickness on defense, and her ability to get in front of the ball handler, cut them off from their path, and disrupt the opposition's offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='752544' first='Ja'Niyah' last='McCoy'] is a young guard to pay attention to. McCoy averaged 16.6 points (top 25 in the State- Freshman scorers) and scored 432 points. Her greatest stat might be her three-point shooting. McCoy recorded the third most threes for a Sophomore and shot an amazing 59 percent from behind the arc. McCoy is opportunistic on the defensive end of the floor as she also led her team with 55 steals last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='515089' first='Ameera' last='Kone'] (Cover Photo) was one of the top Freshman players in the State last season, and she even got better and better over the summer. Kone has the complete package with her size, ball handling, and her shooting ability. She can score in every area on the court. Her pull-up jumper from the three-point line is elite, and she can shoot from the catch and with the ball in hand. Kone has a nice pull-up shot in the midrange area and can take the bump and still get off her shot against physical play. Kone can play with the ball in her hand and also off the ball as well.

Campise-Pinkney is a very good ball-handler and makes good plays for her teammates. She can run the point and also play the two.
