After a busy morning, with two 2026s accepting scholarships at the next level, I have some more players to highlight from the PGH Top 250 Expo last weekend. Today, we look at Team Two from the 5v5 portion of the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039226' first='Ava' last='Dotson']

Something the North Shore will notice this season is how different Grafton plays. The Blackhawks have a plethora of kids that play like Dotson. The 5'6 guard has some length to contain ball handlers on the perimeter and has a motor that she uses well on the defensive end of the floor. I thought that Dotson also showed some intriguing athletic tools on the defensive end of the floor with her quickness and reach that could help her make some plays on that end of the floor this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039243' first='Kennedi' last='Harden']

The Vel Phillips Memorial guard has always been talented, but I thought she's made mental strides in her game. She looked engaged on both ends of the floor and showed plenty of strides when she was away from the ball on both ends, which is one of the biggest takeaways I have from the event as a whole. Harden could be due for a breakout season with the Spartans this season. It was also fun to see her and [player_tooltip player_id='1039228' first='Ava' last='Vogler'] clicking together on the offensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039261' first='Sophia' last='Remiker']

The ceiling that Remiker has is as high as most at the event. She's a 6'0 wing who can create off the dribble, space the floor, finish around the rim, and use her physicality and quickness to defend multiple positions. The Ashwaubenon native showed flashes all day of being a high-level wing in the FRCC, and it feels like she's close to flipping a switch. Remiker has all the tools to be an all-conference-level kid and make the Jaguars one of the better teams in the FRCC. We'll see if she can turn the corner this season, but it feels like we're close to seeing her figure things out and taking a jump.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039263' first='Taressa' last='Hennes']

Few kids in the state have the physical tools that Hennes has. There are things that the Hartford forward can do on the floor that others can't. Sometimes, Hennes made the game unfair because she could athletically control everything around her. The Oriole has the tools to be one of the premier kids in her class, especially on the defensive end of the floor. Watching her block shots and defend around the rim was entertaining because you could see her waiting for opportunities to make plays around the rim. There is still a long way to go to realize her potential, but she could blow up.
