[player_tooltip player_id='896426' first='Paityn' last='Daedlow'] of Tipton High School is a prospect that showed out in AAU on the travel scene the past six months and she is ready to follow that up with another respectable season of high school ball. Daedlow is a standout defender at the guard position, a smart overall prospect on both ends of the floor, and someone with some respectable skill with the ball in her hands. At Tipton, Daedow will be their leader once again both literally and metaphorically. Her teammates will look to her in moments both for a positive attitude and to make a play within the game. If she continues to play to her best capabilities, she is going to like how things turn out moving into her next AAU season following this Winter.

To start off her Sophomore season, [player_tooltip player_id='833965' first='Maggie' last='McChesney'] has returned to Glenwood High School following a successful Freshman campaign and she is in a position to put together her best season on the court to date. For Glenwood, McChesney does a little bit of everything around the perimeter around the outside. She can produce as the leader running the PG, she can move off of the ball and create off the catch with a jumper or with an easy take toward the rim off the dribble, and she does a good job of moving off of the ball and screening or creating space for other action to unfold around her. We will need to see more out of McChesney throughout the rest of this season to make sure she continues to pass the eye test but as of right now, this is definitely a name to know out of the 2027 Class.

Norwalk High School is going to have a chance to go undefeated throughout their regular season this Winter, up until they get into the Playoffs. This team does have dominant leaders but they also thrive off of the production of their role players and someone that should do pretty well these next few years is CG - [player_tooltip player_id='800257' first='Payton' last='Travis']. Travis is putting up some consistent numbers this Winter in her efforts to help her team by committee. Travis is a feisty guard, who plays smarter rather than harder. She understands when it's smart to go for a calculated steal compared to waiting back and letting the opponent bring the ball to her. At the end of the day, this is someone who is currently considered a Top 75 prospect in this 2027 Class. She just needs to keep working and who knows what things could turn into.

Martensdale - St. Marys High School has their leader in [player_tooltip player_id='766457' first='Rylie' last='Fugate'] and she is going to do all that she can over the next 2.5 years to put the team on her back, making them a tough opponent for anyone who might have to match up with them. Fugate is a CG, that competes more at the SG position from what I've seen. She is someone that has the green light to take whatever shot she deems necessary on the high school floor so as long as she plays efficient ball, things will go smoothly.

The only reason that [player_tooltip player_id='889729' first='Rylee' last='Rasmussen'] didn't fall into the Top 50 in this Update was because of her lack of minutes at the Varsity level up until this point and that is not a factor she can control at this moment in time by the looks of it. That is not the determining factor to a prospect being ranked but players need to be able to show that they earned time on their own Varsity team and then they need to show off what they can really do once they do earn that time. That helps anyone evaluating a recruit, really understand what they can do. Rasmussen is going to be a piece to this Varsity team's State Run come this next few months. Her natural size, how she goes about playing the game from an attitude stand point, and her willingness to do whatever her team needs - speaks to her versatility and I think that will continue to become more obvious as time goes on.
