Mashae is a quick guard who gets a lot done for her size. She plays extremely hard and is a high quality defender. Her quickness and anticipation gives her a lot of opportunities to get steals and get her team running in transition. Last season she had 67 steals and I anticipate that number going up her senior season. She also recorded an incredible 88 three point makes last season. Mashae is a veteran leader on the Honkers who return everyone from last season's 20 win team.

Morgan is a key returner for a tough Central McLean team. Last season as a freshman, she averaged 16.8 points per game and recorded 79 assists and 42 three point makes. She also recorded an insane 173 steals last season, which comes out to about 6 steals per game. Morgan is incredibly talented for a sophomore and has been a varsity player since the 7th grade. She earned All-District and All-Region awards last season. Look for Morgan to have another terrific season leading the Cougars to the top of Region 4 - District 8.

Taya is one of the best post players I have come across in Class B. She has a great feel for the game. Last season she averaged 13.1 points per game and 10.8 rebounds per game. She also dished out 65 assists. An All-Region and All-District selection from last season, Taya is going to be critical for Kenmare/Bowbells to have a great season. I am impressed with her footwork around the rim. What I like the most about Taya is her ability to rebound the basketball on the defensive end and begin the transition offense game herself. Taya is going to have another great season.

Cara is a very good player for the Garrison Troopers. Last season she averaged 14.5 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore. She also had 80 steals and 110 assists. Her size allows her to produce in multiple roles for her team. She is able to break opposing team's press defenses with her ability to pass and see over smaller defenders. She can initiate the offense using her ball handling and decision making skills. She can also post up, where she was effective their first game against the Richardton/Taylor Raiders. Look for Cara to have another exceptional season for the Troopers.

Sophie is an All-Region and All-District selection returner from last season. This season she will likely be picked for those two teams and have a good shot at getting on an All-State team. Last season she averaged 14.7 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. She also had 87 steals and 98 assists. Sophie is an excellent rebounder and really good as using her body to create rebounding advantages. She is also good at posting up and stepping across defenders and sealing near the rim. She is able to play inside out and knock down the three as well. Sophie and teammate [player_tooltip player_id='256954' first='Raegen' last='Honeyman'] will have the Bulldogs heading back to the State Tournament this season.

Raegen is an All-Region, All-District, and 1st-Team All-State selection returner from last season. Honeyman will likely see herself on those teams once again this season. Last season she averaged 16.2 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game. She also had 66 steals, 50 assists, and knocked down 54 three pointers. She does a really nice job of getting her feet set and being shot ready on the perimeter. Her shooting form is excellent and her follow through is outstanding. Raegen also has the ability to play inside out and will make Bowman County very hard to beat.

It is going to be a lot of fun watching these girls lead their teams this season. Good luck to everyone!
