Marlee is the next big thing when it comes to North Dakota girls basketball. She has everything colleges look for. Her height, quickness, and athleticism are elite. She is able to defend posts, wings, and guards due to her strength and speed. She can handle the ball and has good vision with her passing. She also shoots it at a high clip from the perimeter. Marlee is receiving interest from many Division 1 schools and that will continue to grow this season and into next summer's AAU season.

Rylee is one of my favorite players in all of North Dakota. I really like the smoothness to her game; she just seems to glide out on the floor and get to whatever spot she wants to. She has a very quick release and a great looking shot. She is able to shoot it deep behind the three-point line and is a very good ball-handler. I think Rylee has a chance to play high level D2/mid-major D1 if she continues to progress throughout her high school career.

Tylie is a superstar for the Devils Lake Firebirds and a big reason they will have a legitimate chance of winning back-to-back State Titles. She was the MVP of the Class A State Tournament last season and is following that up with an even better sophomore campaign. She is very quick out on the floor and moves with conviction. I really enjoy her defensive intensity that has become a staple of Firebirds' basketball. She is a very talented shooter from outside and is able to get to the rim. Tylie is going to be a lot of fun to watch in her career and has a high ceiling as a prospect.

Jordyn is a special talent for Mayport and helping them to the top ten of the latest Class B polls. She is a very talented guard who is lighting it up from all over the floor. She is currently averaging 17 points per game, 6 rebounds, and shooting 35% from behind the arc. Her shooting ability for a sophomore is really impressive. She is definitely going to be an All-Region selection and will compete for a spot on the All-State team going forward. She is a fun prospect to keep an eye on going forward.

Grace is another solid player off of the bench for Bismarck and will find herself having a great high school career when all is said and done. She hits the outside shot and does an exceptional job of reading when to jump the passing lanes in Bismarck's full-court press. She came into the game in their upset victory over Bismarck Legacy and immediately had an impact. She took two steals in for layups and knocked down multiple shots. Her defense led to easy scoring opportunities for her team. Grace is a great player and one Coach Shetler loves to have on his team.

I am very impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='1126159' first='Lakyn' last='Johnson'] from Century. She may be smaller than other guards, but she makes up for it with her effort, enthusiasm, and ability to shoot from behind the arc. She is currently averaging about 6 points per game but is shooting a staggering 52% from the three-point line. Shooting this well equates to playing a ton of minutes as a sophomore. Her ability to be a threat on the perimeter makes it very difficult for opposing teams to plug the lane up. This creates great scoring lanes for teammates [player_tooltip player_id='641207' first='Abby' last='Fosland'] and [player_tooltip player_id='398151' first='Zoie' last='Austin'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1051389' first='Lauren' last='Doll'] is a natural leader on the floor for her Hazen Bison. She is cheering on her teammates when they do something well and holding them accountable for mistakes. She is directing traffic in the half-court and is leading by example. She plays hard and is a good shooter, with the ability to knock down baskets from behind the arc. She is a good athlete who plays with a great competitive spirit, something fans and coaches can appreciate about her.

Mya is the first off of the bench for South Prairie and is another guard who can impact the game in multiple ways. She is long and lengthy and has good foot-speed. She is capable of handling the rock and allowing some of her teammates a chance to take a substitution break. I like who she runs the floor hard and wide. I think she has potential to be an outstanding defender as well.

Brooklyn is finding herself more and more time out on the floor as the season has progressed, and for good reason. She is a talented outside shooter, something that the Mustangs are looking for this season. Right now she leads her team in field goal percentage at 44% and three-point field goal percentage at 36.4%. She is also adding 3.6 rebounds per game, a decent number for a reserve guard. The crafty lefty has potential for her role to continue to increase as the season progresses.

Izzy is a spark plug off the bench for the Bismarck Demons. She came into the game against Bismarck Legacy in their upset win and hit two key three-point baskets and had a very nice middle drive into a dump off pass to help set the tone that her team was there to compete. The lefty is quick and shifty with a quick release. She fits right into the Demon culture of full-court pressing and up-tempo play. I look forward to watching Izzy as she progresses throughout her high school career.

Addison is a terrific guard for the Berthold Bombers. Last season she averaged 16.9 points per game and 5 rebounds per game. She also contributed 64 steals and 61 assists. These are outstanding stats for a freshman. She is following up that great season with another awesome season as a sophomore. She is steady with the ball and makes great decisions. She has a very quick first step that allows her to blow by defenders. She is a strong athlete so she does not shy away from contact, drawing multiple fouls throughout the game by getting to the free-throw line. Berthold is in the top 5 of Class B and undefeated and Addison is a big reason why.
