In the first half, nothing came easy for Skylar. Skylar was able to get separation and create offense for herself on a few possessions. She's a solid ball handler! I loved the beautiful step back three that she drilled right before halftime. Walden also came in and drilled the first long ball to start the second half. Skylar has a beautiful outside shot that is deadly if you leave her open!

Burns picked up the first steal and score of the game! Nya continues to show elite defense. In the first quarter, she picked up numerous steals. She also scored the first long ball for GCA. She's a three level scorer that is hard to guard! Burns was able to showcase her elite skills in all facets of the game. This one is a true difference maker. She picked up a steal and a bucket under the one minute mark too. Give this athlete ALL of her flowers because she deserves them!

Abby is a MONSTER! She is one of the best passers in the state! You won't see a lazy pass from this one. Roberts is extremely unselfish. She made elite passes all evening and she was able to knock down the mid-range. If there is a 50/50 ball, my money is on Roberts to get it. She was involved in numerous jump balls and she helped her team get extra possessions! My favorite play from Abby was the offensive rebound that led to her score in the 3rd quarter.

My first thought was, "Get the ball inside to Brady!" The second quarter, TKA did just that. Brady was fouled on back to back plays and drilled all four free throws. When Brady has her back to the basket and posts up, she is incredibly hard to stop. She drew numerous fouls. She also was able to step out and stretch the floor by drilling a beautiful 3! Brady was a true force inside the entire game. Honestly, there was no answer for Brady. Despite the loss, Branam played the most efficient, dominant game!

Loveday was the first athlete to get on the board for TKA. She has a knack for finding open spots on the court. She is an athlete that truly gives over 110% on every possession. Despite the loss, there was no quit in Liv and I have no doubts that Loveday, & the TKA squad won't bounce back!

Butler played huge for GCA! She knocked down the first three in the second quarter. She plays with great energy and provides her team a nice spark! Sarah Beth was in the right place at the right time when her teammate found her under the basket in the 3rd quarter. I loved how she took the hard foul and finished the old-fashioned 3 point play! Sarah also said, "I have ice in my veins too team!" She stepped up and knocked down a timely free throw! She played with so much passion!

Young did a great job defensively! She drilled a beautiful corner 3 in the third quarter. She followed it up in the 4th quarter by knocking down another timely 3 ball for TKA. When TKA was down, Kyle was able to help get them back in the game.

Hill is the go-getter. She gets after it on both ends of the court. She truly does all of the little things that you love from an athlete. The non-stop hustle and energy are a great asset to this GCA team. She deserves credit for her defense and what she brings to the court! She's the one that will take on whatever role that her team needs.
