[player_tooltip player_id='1213363' first='Addison' last='Glass'] has been a featured played all season long for her Hinton Blackhawks program. Glass, a 5'10 CG/SF, is a player out of the 2027 Class with a lot of upside on the court. Her mixture of height at 5'10, along with her agile skill-set and smooth scoring ability is unique and definitely a base she can build on. With that being said, Glass had a remarkable State Championship contest. She finished with 14 points (5-7), 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. The big moments of this one happened when Glass and company was hitting their three point attempts. Glass herself went 3-4 from behind the arc off of some catch-and-shoot attempts and that played a vital mark in their 2 point victory. As a prospect, this is someone that is going to make a big impact for years to come. With how well she moves for her size, she is going to continue to be a big mismatch moving forward over her next two seasons. She can score down low on the block with a simple move when she has a size advantage, she can hit jumpers when given space, and she seems pretty smart when it comes to the X's & O's of the game. All good things from the outside looking it.

I think it's safe to say that [player_tooltip player_id='1100896' first='[player_tooltip player_id='896222' first='Maura' last='']' last='Ryan'] is a smooth operator when the ball is in her possession. Ryan never seems to be sped up or out of control. She is very good at understanding angles and attacking the hip of her defender when she is driving, usually creating a good amount of space as she blows by for a bucket or assists. She possesses a smooth jumper but it isn't always on display. She would much rather get to the bucket for an easy finish a majority of the time but that's not to say she won't shoot it. She isn't afraid to let it go from deep at least a few times in each contest from what I've seen so defenders have to at least play her straight up. St. Albert's Championship was a huge group effort but they did have a few guards stand out for their play and Ryan is in that few.

You could debate that [player_tooltip player_id='751962' first='Eleanor' last='Coughlin'] had one of the best showing of her career in the 1A State Championship last night. Coughlin came in off the bench and controlled pace, possession, tempo, and most importantly - the press break. She understood that once her team got it over half-court, they needed to slow down and run offense as much as they could. They had advantages at almost every position so why not? This showed me a lot of discipline and that Coughlin understands how to win. When the final buzzer sounded, this wasn't the MVP of the game but she was vital in her team's success to pull this one out. Without her, they don't get it done. Which says a lot because it's not like this is someone who is killing you with fancy moves or something you've never seem before. She keeps it simple and beats her opponent with quickness or athletic ability. Something anyone can do with a hungry mindset, a high motor, and the right guidance.

Other than [player_tooltip player_id='311363' first='Libby' last='Fandel'] and [player_tooltip player_id='502101' first='Madden' last='Wilson'], there were a few other prospects that made clutch plays down the stretch so that the Saints could bring home the 4A Title. One of those players specifically was senior SF, [player_tooltip player_id='1207130' first='Taylor' last='Rexroth']. Rexroth stands at 5'10 so she does possess good height but where she made an instant impact in this one was from behind the 3 point line on rotation. Throughout the evening the Comets tried to go into a zone to switch up which defense the Saints were seeing. The Saints, being the seasoned team they are, stayed patient and continued to rotate the ball until they found an open look. Two of those times it was an open pass to Rexroth in the corner and she knocked them down. Rexroth also recorded some other positive stats in the steals and rebounding departments but these 3 pointers were the nail in the coffin, in a sense. They were monumental.

[player_tooltip player_id='311356' first='Rebecca' last='Aagard'] is in the conversation for the best overall tournament by a North Polk player this last week. Aagard came into each contest and did exactly what was asked of her. A perfect example is in the 4A Championship when she recorded a stat line of 17 points (7-13), 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 0 turnovers, while also going 3-4 from the charity stripe against CR - Xavier. All 17 points came at the rim either on the roll from a screen or just off of post-up action on the block. On both occasions it was just really efficient action because Aagard kept it simple. It's also important to note that this is someone who was a menace this past week defensively. She was protecting the lane at high and thorough rates, being something that the opponents had to consistent think about with her reach. Both of those things together combines for a week to remember out of the senior Power Forward.
