[player_tooltip player_id='514550' first='Kendall' last='Perry'] is one of the top point guard and floor generals in the 2026 rankings. Perry can handle the ball and utilizes a great basketball IQ to understand the moment and get her teammates involved. She can also take it upon herself to score the ball. She has a nice shooting touch from the perimeter and can hit the midrange shot as well. Perry is ultra competitive and does what it takes to make her team better. Watching her in the State tournament, her physicality was also impressive. She doesn't mind getting physical and drawing fouls to get to the line. Perry also rebounds well from the guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='248551' first='Alanna' last='Tatum'] (cover photo) is one of the toughest point guard in the 2026 rankings, physically and mentally. Tatum just does what it takes to win. Offensively, she can get to the rim going left or right, and she did that more consistently this past year. She is explosive going to the basket and she can score the ball. Tatum's midrange game is one on the best in the 2026 class and it compliments her ability to get to the rim. Tatum can also shoot the three. Last season she connected on 35 percent of her three pointers and over 40 percent as a Sophomore. Defense is Tatum specialty and there is no guard in the State who can duplicate her ability. She is in a league of her own. She can out- athlete an opponent and has the ability to prevent them from getting to the rim with her physicality, speed, athleticism, defensive IQ, and quickness. Tatum is a playmaker on offense and looks to get her teammates involved. The junior guard has several D1 offers and will look to add to that number with a solid summer.

Ashyln Young has always been an elite leader and player on the court. That trait was evident the first time I saw her play years ago on a young travel team. Young has great instincts on both ends of the floor. The Junior baller led her team to a 19-4 record and all 4 defeats came to teams that ended up in Lakeland in the Final 4 of their respective classes. Young led the team in scoring, assists, and steals. The thing that stands out when watching Young play is her athleticism, speed, composure, and natural ability on the ball court. She just has a natural feel for the game. Running the point, Young does a good job of getting her teammates involved. She had the ability to score 20 per game, and is one of the top talents in the State in any class.

[player_tooltip player_id='514572' first='Laila' last='Allen'] is a consumate floor general. She does have the ability to get to the rim and score the ball and is an aggressive at doing so. Allen can shoot three with a beautiful left handed jumper, she can stop and pop the midrange, and has a very good float game. It's not lost on the point guard of the talent she has around her and she uses her offensive skillset to also set up teammates. She makes plays on the inside and can also draw the defense and kick out to a shoooter. Allen is also a tough defender who plays tough on the ball defense. She has great quickness and great lateral movement on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='514522' first='Morgan' last='Cremen'] is another floor general who is extremely competitive at the point guard position, and has garnered a lot of attention from college coaches. Her quickness and defensive tenacity really stand out when watching Cremen play. She has quick hands, quick feet, and great instincts, especially on the defensive end. She is very good at turning steals into scores. Cremen can also knock shots from the perimeter and get to the rim. Her speed and quickness allow her to excel as a playmaker. She has good court vision and instincts and knows how to set up shooters for the open shot. She will be an exciting player to watch this upcoming travel season.

[player_tooltip player_id='248550' first='Angel' last='Mclellon'] is a nice point guard in the 2026 class and it will be about exposure for the talented point guard. McLellon has the handles, the quickness, and can get to the rim and score. She is continuing to develop a consistent three point shot. As she increases her productivity from the perimeter, her stock will continue to rise. McLellon is excellent at using her quickness and court vision to set up her teammates. Defensively, she is excellent with her on the ball defense, and she can also protect the basket with her quickness and her ability to block shots from her guard position.
