Top 10

The Top 10 in the state had great season and almost all of them fall in their higher tier of strength of schedule. Strength of schedule was huge this year as a lot of teams were battle ready for a playoff run. Ridgleine played everyone and Snow Canyon was a good team as well in 4A and it goes to show you that in girls basketball there is talent scattered all over the state and classifications. [player_tooltip player_id='772236' first='Emilee' last='Skinner'], [player_tooltip player_id='789118' first='Makaydi' last='Jenks'] and [player_tooltip player_id='796477' first='Abby' last='Munford'] had great years for the State Champions in 4A. [player_tooltip player_id='788151' first='Olivia' last='Hamlin'], [player_tooltip player_id='790569' first='Joey' last='Jensen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='788224' first='Kelly' last='Howard'] had elite years at Snow Canyon. These two teams could make a deep run in any classification.

Bountiful and West end in the Top 5 in 5A and they could both play with anyone. West's Kaylee Falatea was just unreal and she is a prospect that has D1 written all over her. West brings back a lot of talent, including Falatea. Bountiful was led by [player_tooltip player_id='788162' first='Taylor' last='Harvey'] but [player_tooltip player_id='796795' first='Milika' last='Satuala'] and [player_tooltip player_id='827404' first='Maleah' last='Nelson'] will be back and they could make a run at it again. Bountiful has a few other players that will shine next season.

Grantsville had an excellent year as they had elite players that will move onto the college level. [player_tooltip player_id='788225' first='Baylee' last='Lowder'] and [player_tooltip player_id='788281' first='Avery' last='Allred'] are two of those players. Grantsville has some pieces coming back but loosing Allred and Lowder will hurt them.

The rest of the Top 10 is made up of 6A schools a classification that had a lot of parody. Lone Peak wins it again and they bring back everyone. Copper Hills losses almost every contributor including [player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker']. Bingham and Mountain Ridge region foes had solid years. Bingham losses 8 seniors and will need to rebuild. Mountain Ridge returns everyone next season and they will be tough. [player_tooltip player_id='796847' first='Jessica' last='Maynard'] and [player_tooltip player_id='805788' first='Kaylee' last='Montgomery'] will be great for Mountain Ridge. Davis has a few pieces coming back and none better than [player_tooltip player_id='796844' first='T'Maea' last='Eteuati'].

The Next 10

Syracuse and Westlake will be among some of the favorites coming back next season. They both return a lot of talent. Syracuse will lean on [player_tooltip player_id='796823' first='Maylee' last='Anderson'] and Rachael McBride. Westlake will lean on Janice Sikander and [player_tooltip player_id='796479' first='Avery' last='Thompson']. Skyridge will need to replace a lot of scoring but return [player_tooltip player_id='789079' first='Ella' last='Oeser']. Cedar Valley makes the jump to 6A and they will be good too and Region 2 will once again be the toughest region in 6A.

Provo and Dixie will have a lot of talent coming back. Provo will be hard to miss as they bring back center [player_tooltip player_id='873276' first='Sutton' last='Villa'] nd up and coming PG [player_tooltip player_id='873280' first='Sage' last='Yenchik']. Dixie has players like Addie Winters and [player_tooltip player_id='873331' first='Izzy' last='Hollingshead'] returning.

Wastach, Payson, Salem Hills and Brighton had solid years but all of these teams will look different next year. Wasatch will have height and Payson will still have some of their height as well. Brighton will be a different looking team as well. Keep an eye on [player_tooltip player_id='796470' first='Mahala' last='Speardon'] (Wasatch) and [player_tooltip player_id='796799' first='Sophie' last='Nielsen'] (Brighton) these two players will have major impacts on their team.
