As March Madness continues, the field of 64 has by now been reduced to the Sweet 16. In the next few articles, we pay homage to the tournament and recognize 16 prospects in the 2028 class who are ready to shine and have a “sweet” AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='880384' first='Jada' last='Clardy'] is one the smoothest and skillful players in the entire state. Clardy knows how to score the ball in every way imaginable. She can shoot the three, get to the rim, maneuver through a defense, and finish with craftiness and creativity.

[player_tooltip player_id='708143' first='Kendall' last='Proffitt'] had another great season shooting the three ball and leading her team. Proffitt is one of the most prolific scorers in the State. Last season she put up mind boggling numbers: 28.7 points per game, scored 688 points, and knocked down 113 three pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='974196' first='Trinity' last='Dinkins'] was one of the most skilled players on the entire First Coast as a Freshman. Her court vision, ball IQ, and versatility stood out this season. She is one special player and is on a path for eliteness.

[player_tooltip player_id='708144' first='Jocelyn' last='Hoffmann'] is another special Freshman who is like a surgeon on the floor. She can flat out shoot the three and is also a playmaker who can make plays for herself and set up teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='219786' first='Kennedy' last='Deal'] is a very explosive Freshman who is one of the most talented in the class. She has athleticism and an inside and outside presence on the floor- on both sides of the court. Deal started the season off in a dominant fashion and finished as a State Champion Freshman.

[player_tooltip player_id='248355' first='Alana' last='Pinnock'] was one of the top Freshman in the State this season and before it's all said and done she could be in that number one spot. Pinnock has a killer midrange game and can get in the paint and score. Pinnock can also handle the ball and she puts pressure on the defense all game long.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092442' first='London' last='Thomas'] was a beast this season and can score the ball from all over the floor. Her jump shot is smooth and her quick release is so impressive. And also efficient!! Thomas averaged over 18 points per game and knocked down close to 60 threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='638560' first='Gianna' last='Crawford'] played well this season and is a versatile Freshman to be reckoned with. Crawford can play on the outside as well as the inside. She does a good job of handling the ball on the perimeter, but her presence on the inside is elite. Crawford has a high IQ and has the ability to be a play maker from her position in the post.

We will continue with a look at the second group (9-16) of our “Sweet 16” in part 2 of our March Madness Sweet 16 Article.
