In this article we highlight five prospects out of the 2029 Class in Iowa that have recently been added to our PGH system during this Update. Each individual is someone that has shown some promise in one way or another over their years at the middle school levels. Now it's all about building on that momentum and riding it into their high school careers this Fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1214538' first='Zella' last='Evans'] is an aspiring talent out of the 2029 Class that most haven't heard of just yet. Evans displays all the basics to become a great player over her high school career if she stays dedicated. This is someone that has an efficient handle, she can make open shots off the catch or dribble, she is a fearless driver into the lane looking for constant contact, and she makes good choices with the basketball a majority of the time. There is a lot of changes happening at CCA at this moment in time so I'm not sure how their new system will work once they hire a new HC and staff but if Evans finds her place in the program early, she will be a name you hear more and more as time moves forward.

Ottumwa High School is going to be a program to watch these next few season with the prospects that they are bringing in with their 2029 Class. They will have [player_tooltip player_id='1169794' first='Emma' last='Ryder'] at the Forward position and they will also have [player_tooltip player_id='1170537' first='Blake' last='Goldsmith']. Goldsmith is a 5'10 C/PF that will easily be able to play off of Ryder across from her. Teams will have to pick their poison when it comes to who they want to contain. Either Ryder or Goldsmith is going to eat on the boards on both ends and they will most likely show up in the scoring department as well. Goldsmith is a coordinated athlete that can beat her individual matchup with her smarts, skill, or athletic ability. She still needs to grow in some certain categories but for an individual in the 2029 Class, she is fine. The pair of Ryder and Goldsmith will both have a chance to average a double-double in points-rebounds as a freshman. Something that won't be easy for either but it's definitely do-able for both.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090884' first='Hayden' last='Keith'] was first mentioned a few months ago as someone out of the 2029 Class to put on your radar moving into high school. Keith is a prospect with a wide base and solid skill set on both sides of the basketball. Offensively with her size right now she can do it all at the middle school level. She can either play the 1, all the way to the 4/5 in the post where she can score from block-to-block. Defensively, it's the same. She can stick with a smaller PG or she can wall up near the paint and alter shots coming near the bucket. It's whatever is needed in that given moment. I know in Keith's offseason that she is working to diversify her skill-set moving into this Spring. She is working on tightening up her handle, broadening her vision, and she is continuously trying to understand the game from a higher IQ level. All things that are going to make her into a very respectable recruit over-time. As for now Keith will compete with her 212 Academy team out of Tiffin this Spring before moving into the Fall.

If [player_tooltip player_id='1201512' first='Nikki' last='Muller'] is anything like her two older sisters in size, she is going to continue to grow into her high school career. Muller, a 5'11 SF, should turn out to be around 6'2-6'3 with a diverse skill-set between the guard and post positions. This is a player that is going to have the potential to be a factor at the Varsity level before you know it. I do imagine that Muller is going to end up being a mix between both of her sisters but we will just have to see. She has the advantage of learning from the ones above her and that is going to benefit her individually in her own process.

Clear Lake always has some ballers on roster. Another one that will be joining them the Lions out of the 2029 Class is PG/SG, [player_tooltip player_id='1218124' first='Maddison' last='Riser']. Riser is a smaller PG that understands to play off of two feet and how to use her fakes in a variety of different ways. She can get into the middle, onto two feet, and pump fake the defense into an open shoot attempt or she can pass-fake all over the court and turn those fakes into crafty assists. It's all just situational but in every situation, Riser has impressed so far. This AAU season she will compete with her Lady Martin Bros UAA team before taking the high school floor. If she plays to her full capabilities, watch out.
