[player_tooltip player_id='502091' first='Adalyn' last='Long'] has started off this AAU season on the right foot with some effective play on both ends. Long has been hitting stand still jumpers, she has been getting to the hoop on opportunity, she is jumping to the ball defensively and creating steals defensively, and she has been doing all this while keeping it simple over everything else. Long is primed for a big AAU campaign for the rest of this season. She looks good to start and she will build on that

You have to make the most out of your opportunities and that's what [player_tooltip player_id='502100' first='Macy' last='Comito'] is doing. Playing on the AIA 17U EYBL team is no joke. They have several Nationally ranking players every year and they are always in the hunt for a 17U Nike National Title. Comito has been coming in for this team at the PG position and doing some work. She is taking the opportunities she see's in real time and making things happen to show her worth, while also helping the others around her play at a quick rate down the floor. Comito is going to be a name we hear for years to come in Iowa in Ames but that is still sometime away.

[player_tooltip player_id='502092' first='Brynlie' last='Hadenfeldt'] is coming off of a respectable weekend with her [program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] program. Hadenfeldt, a 6'0 SF, can score and defend with the best of them. She is not the tallest at her position but she makes up for it with muscle, smarts, physicality, and ability to adapt. She is also the type to be the first on the floor for a loose ball. Demonstrating her dedication for the love of the game. Hadenfeldt has a handful of offers from the D2, D3, NAIA, and Juco levels already with more to come in the near future.

Peters picked up right where she left off after a special Freshman season with her Waukee Varsity team. When you are speaking about Peter's play style, you start with the fact that she thrives off her athletic ability and body control. She is very good at controlling the tempo of the game and that is extremely noticeable while you watch her compete on any floor. Peter's shined two weeks ago to kick things off with her Battlers program. I know she is going to continue to do better. Over-time she could become someone that is getting a lot of love at the collegiate levels. All the intangibles are there, now it's about just continuing to make it work.

[player_tooltip player_id='795874' first='LJ' last='Maehl'] is a taller prospect at the forward position, that is starting to be able to spread the floor. Over these past two weeks, Maehl was catching out on the outside, putting it on the floor, trying to get all the way to her spot near the block for a simple bucket with her length. She also had some shot attempts for the outside but those are still a work in progress. This is someone that is pretty good when she gets the ball in favorable positions. That's going to be a lot easier in college so I wouldn't be shocked if she gets to the next level in a few years and takes off.
