She has positional size and scoring versatility and has shown a physical aspect to her young game. She impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she demands a lot of attention, and even though she can score on the perimeter, she impacts the offensive end the most with her play on the low block. She has size and, carves out space on offense, and clogs up the middle on defense. She has power to her game and toughness on the inside, which makes her a match-up problem for many she will face over the next couple of months. She has scoring instincts, can break down defenders off the bounce, control pace, and shoot the three. When I saw her early, she was consistently one of the most reliable guards in the gym. She also impacts the defensive end of the floor as she moves well laterally, anticipates passing lanes, and generates turnovers.   I spoke with Coach Thompson extensively about a month ago. He shared with me that the three players mentioned above will be looked upon to carry the load for the team, while at the same time, he is going to need production from both Lauren Nesmith (5'7/CG/2028), a combo guard who hunts scoring opportunities and scores well from all levels, and [player_tooltip player_id='672400' first='Kennedy' last='Caldwell'] (5'7/PG/2028) who is a heady floor general who is extremely reliable and trustworthy at the PG spot.    By the time the live period rolls around, Coach Thompson hopes to see his team playing disciplined, attacking, and well-balanced on both ends of the floor.   From what I have seen early from this team, this will be a tough opponent in any 15u division they compete in, and the intriguing part of it all is that the team is led by three 8th graders.
