This weekend marked the first of two stops for the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit to go through Indiana in 2025. The Crossroads Clash took place at the beautiful new 10-court Mishawaka Fieldhouse, just 5 minutes from the University of Notre Dame's campus. After seeing most of the teams in the 17U, 16U, and 15U divisions, below is a look at seven ladies from the 2027 class who stood out to me for one reason or another.

I first saw Alli during the Winter, and she is a really intriguing wing prospect who continues to grow her game. She is extremely long & wiry, fast, and somewhat bouncy. She likes to attack the basket off the dribble, and she has a solid midrange game as well. I think where she can excel is defensively, because she certainly has the athletic tools to defend both on and off the ball, and to take on a variety of positions. She looks like she might still grow another inch as well.

I was able to see Averi throughout the Spring & Summer in 2024, and this year she is playing with much more pace and control, plus she looks longer and smoother as an athlete. She has a solid handle and doesn't back down from a challenge. She has a nice perimeter stroke as well and can burn defenses when they "help" off of her. I also like her ability to attack the basket North/South, plus she's a willing defender and rebounder for a lead guard.

I was able to see Brooke a little when she was in middle school, and she has done a nice job of developing her skillset for the high school level. She is long, quick, fast, and she flies around the court at times. She has developed her point guard skillset nicely and plays with her head up looking for open teammates. Brooke can also knock down an open rhythm jumper, plus she is versatile defensively and can defend the ball or passing lanes with her length.

Gatlin is a very intriguing prospect because she has a lot of athletic tools to help her for the next level. She is a long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic front-liner. She runs the floor extremely well, and she has a little bounce in her game. She still needs to play lower to absorb contact a bit better, but I feel like she's also at a point where if she can continue to build her face-up game in the mid-post, it might be even more beneficial for college play.

I have had Grace's name for a little while now, but I have finally seen her multiple times this Spring. She is a long, wiry-strong, fairly athletic wing who plays with a nice motor. She's a run-and-jump athlete who is good in trapping situations, she can defend multiple types of players, and she is a good pursuing rebounder. Offensively, she's more of a slasher right now, but as she makes her perimeter jumper more consistent, she could become a handful to defend.

Ava had a nice season for Crown Point this Winter, and I feel like she had a solid weekend in Mishawaka as well. She has a fairly strong frame, but she's also a nice athlete who plays with a good motor. She can be physical, battle in the mid-post or around the block, and she has a nice mid-range jumper. She's also skilled enough to play around the perimeter, handle it a little, and attack North/South. She is the type of inside-out '4' small colleges like to recruit.

Mya is another prospect I have seen since she was in middle school. This year she looks noticeably stronger, maybe even a little taller, and she's much more aggressive off the bounce. She is so long, wiry, and fluidly athletic/smooth. Mya can handle the ball, get to the basket, and finish, but she's also an improving perimeter shooter. I look for her to have a breakout Spring and carry that over into her 2025-2026 high school season. Keep an eye on her this Spring!
