She was effective getting to the basket and finishing with contact. When she got the the line she made her free throws and she made some threes early in the game. She played solid on defense but picked up a few fouls which had her resting a bit longer that the Roadrunners needed her to be, however, when she returned tot he floor she was back at it making plays.

The sharpshooter put her distance shooting on display making the majority of her three pointers. She displayed solid ballhandling skill and vision moving the ball around the court. I would have loved to see her put up a few more shots as she was averaging 14 point per game while shooting just under 50% from the field.

Amora had been battling an ankle injury prior to the tournament but showed out in the first game with all of the tricks that have wowed us over the last few years. She shot the three at a 45% rate averaging double figures despite being limited in the second two games. I was really looking forward to a showdown between her and NyAir McCoy but it will have to wait until they meet in college.

Nevaeh showed her three point range, she knocked down two of them, this was the first time we've seen that side of her game. If you combine that with her length, athleticism and ability to get to the basket and finish the end result is a player capable of playing any position on the floor. She is primed for a breakout summer and junior season and I'm getting my popcorn ready.

Ivanna had the highest scoring average in the tournament with 21.5 ppg in two games. She was also the top rebounder in the tournament averaging over 13 boards a game. If you add in being amongst the top in steals, free throws and blocked shots and she had what would be considered an MVP performance. She is amongst the top players in the nation.
