<p>The EA Lady Stars traveled up to Rockford, IL from South Carolina. The EA Lady Stars a team consisted of several players from Clover HS, Fort Mill HS and Nation Ford HS play on this squad. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='637732' first='Jada' last='Chambliss']</strong> came up with the winning shot in overtime to secure the win over the [program_tooltip program_id='713205' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] Select 17U. Jada connected on a long 3-ball to finish the game with 11 points in the win. Jada was able to score through contact on the way to the cup when she wasn't scoring from the mid-range game today.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='637733' first='Julienne' last='Chambliss']</strong> took high honors today with 13 points in the win. Julienne was able to drop some floaters down the lane at times today. She connected on some short baseline jumpers while running the show from out top. Julienne did a nice job of day long staying vocal and communicating with her teammates. She really brought good energy to the floor for the short-handed roster of the EA Lady Stars. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='372272' first='Samara' last='Lucas']</strong> a UNSIGNED SENIOR patrolled the paint for EA Lady Stars. Lucas a post player seems to be at her best playing inside the paint and collecting putbacks off the glass. Samara will play with her back to the basket and post up while stirring up contact along the way.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1277298' first='Akayla' last='Richards']</strong> brought plenty of energy and emotions to the floor at times. Richards leaves it all out on the floor with her heart and effort. She jumped on the deck several times today trying to contain loose balls. Akayla plays the game with a competitive edge and strong work ethic. </p>

<p>The [program_tooltip program_id='713205' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] BlueStar 17U ladies had little trouble in a game we took in today from here in Rockford, IL. <strong>Allie Robel</strong> led the way in the win with 15 points. Robel a small forward averaged 12.7 ppg and 7.2 rebounds this past season at Elk Mound HS. She was able to drive to the basket all day long while playing in attack mode. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='598735' first='Natalie' last='Backhaus']</strong> has given an early pledge to Augustana University (SD) (NCAA D2) to play basketball. Natalie who attends Wisconsin Dells HS was quite efficient with her play today. She does a nice job of sealing off defenders down on the block at times or stepping out and knocking down the 15-17-foot jump shot. Natalie was able to showcase show crafty passing skills along the way. She finished with 11 points in the win today. </p>

Raya finished with both hands at the rim today. She constantly played active on both ends of the court. Shaw attends Eau Claire Memorial HS. She finished the game with 10 points in the win today. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='915001' first='Jillian' last='Kunert']</strong> plays up an age group from the 2027 Class. Jillian plays at Northwestern HS (Maple). She was able to contest and challenge some shots here today on the defensive end of the floor. Jillian is a rim-protector and a volleyball player in the fall. She averaged 11.8 ppg, 8.1 rebounds and 6.1 blocks (134 blocks this season). </p>

<p>The local favorite [program_tooltip program_id='712685' first='Midwest' last='Wildcats'] a last-minute fill in finished the weekend at (4-1). <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='615355' first='Soraya' last='Parker']</strong> had a strong showing here this weekend. Parker who attends Rockford Lutheran HS was able to finish on the break and score at will at times today it seemed. Soraya showed great body control and demeanor on the floor all day long. She has received offers from Northern Illinois University, SIU-Edwardsville and Loyola-Chicago this season. </p>

<p>Soraya finished the season at 20.6 ppg, 5.1 steals and 3.4 assists while gathering 1st Team-All State Honors. She currently has 2.040 career points entering her senior season next year. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='514037' first='Macy' last='Groharing']</strong> and <strong>Malia Morton</strong> both attend Byron HS. Macy was able to score the ball in transition when she wasn't dropping 3-balls along the way. She does a nice job of handling the rock and finding the open teammate along the way. Macy really plays the game with a good basketball IQ. She received 1st Team-All State Honors this season averaging 20 ppg, 4.1 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 2.9 assists. </p>

<p>Morton constantly found herself around the ball to make a play. Malia 5-foot-7 averaged 16.7 ppg, 3.8 rebounds and 3.1 steals this past season at Byron HS. She was able to finish on the break with some uncontested layups. Malia showed a quick pair of hands to pick up some steals along the way today. </p>
