Within her team's offense at the travel level, Stiefel plays more of the off-guard position and she holds her own. All weekend long she has been hitting jumpers off the creation of someone else, moving consistently without the ball to confuse the defense, and she still has her moments of getting it off a rebound to take it coast to coast for a nifty finish. Great start to the AAU season for Stiefel from an individual stand-point."

[player_tooltip player_id='493840' first='Greta' last='Thompson'] - CG - Fremd High School (IL) - M14 17U 3SSB (IL)

"Thompson always produces whenever I'm in the building and happen to be walking by. Year after year. That fact doesn't really change and when you have a player like that, they could turn into something special at the next level within the right system and with the correct guidance. Thompson possesses notable length at 5'11, she is a weapon from anywhere on the floor on the offensive end, and her basketball IQ is impressive. Even on a tough team with other stars on roster, Thompson makes it look easier than most. This is definitely a scholarship player at the ends of the day. No doubt about it."

[player_tooltip player_id='514890' first='Desiree' last='Merritt'] - SG - Oswego East High School (IL) - M14 17U 3SSB (IL)

"[player_tooltip player_id='514890' first='Desiree' last='Merritt'] has displayed an advanced skill set off the dribble this weekend. Merritt is a 5'5 SG with a shifty dribble, a smooth jumper, and next level body movement. I've seen her hit her defender for a nasty pull up off her crossover. I've seen her mix up her defender and get all the way to the rim. All while not forcing unnecessary action when it get rotated to her. One of the harder players to stay in front of this weekend at any level."

Her natural instincts as she jumps to the ball has been second-to-none and that's led to big numbers at the end of the game. In one or two specific contests, Dreckmeier recorded almost double-digits in Steals in each. Pretty impressive from a numbers stand-point and from an evaluation stand-point."

Christina Williams - SG - Guilderland High School (NY) - NY Havoc 16U (NY)

"C Williams has touch, a solid shooting stroke, and an impressive level of confidence. With this confidence, she is still efficient. She doesn't take bad or forced shots. Instead, she lets the game come to her and lets the defense dictate how she is going to attack them. She is someone that is always go aggressive mode while attacking but she is also winning to pass to an open teammate if that opportunity presents itself. This group has some talented individuals and someone that stood out the most was Williams on Saturday."

Ava Layne - PG/SG - Fairland High School (OH) - Lexington Crossover UAA 2028 (KY)

"Ava Layne is the leading PG for her team to run their offense and that's why her team is up 30 at halftime in their first contest of the day. She orchestrates their sets in the half court, dishing out some crafty assists. She is getting the ball off a rebound and running things in transition, all while hitting open buckets when the opportunities present themselves. A young prospect but with a lot of promise from what I've seen thus far."

Jones, a 5'6 PG, is a handful. Smart, experienced, makes the right play the majority of the time. Someone that you can give the ball too as a coach and tell her to go to work with complete trust, while still understanding when she needs to take over compared to when she should defer."

[player_tooltip player_id='612984' first='Alyvia' last='McCorkle'] - PG - Bettendorf High School (IA) - Mac Irvin Fire 17U Godfather S40 (IL)

"It's never an easy task to stick with an ESPNW Rated prospect but [player_tooltip player_id='612984' first='Alyvia' last='McCorkle'] of Mac Irvin Fire 17U Godfather put in a solid effort again [player_tooltip player_id='514946' first='Shania' last='James'] of Example Academy 2026 UAA. An effort that you can't fault by any means. During the high school season, we see a lot from McCorkle offensively but she really does well on defense when you break down her individual skill-set. She reacts in good timing to most things, she has great movement side-to-side, she jumps to the ball on both sides of the floor, she is willing to rebound, and she can turn it on offensively in a hurry. All things that translate to the next level."
