[player_tooltip player_id='672683' first='Eve' last='Long'], 6'3”, PF, Olathe South, ‘27

There were zero changes among the top three ranked athletes. Olathe South's Long remains the No. 1 ranked athlete in the Kansas Class of 2027. She is a talented post who lopes down the court like a young deer. She recently competed in a USA Basketball Minicamp and is a Division I prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='671505' first='Maddie' last='Vickery'], 6'1”, PF, Washburn Rural, '27 (Kansas State, Pictured Above)

Rural's Vickery remains locked into the No. 2 position and has already verbally committed to Kansas State University. She can score anywhere on the floor and enjoys shooting the three. Her work ethic is next to none. It feels like she is playing the game somewhere every day. She was named a member of my All-Deck State team and received a ton of postseason accolades.

[player_tooltip player_id='723402' first='Taylor' last='McCarty'], 5'9”, SF, Cheylin, ‘27

I can honestly say that if McCarty lived in the eastern half of the state, she would have Division I coaches drooling over her game. In small town western Kansas she might have to settle for a Division II or JUCO program to start, but in this topsy-turvy world of college sports, you never know! She averaged 22.9 points, eight rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 4.9 steals per game as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='884867' first='Pearmella' last='Carter'], 5'10”, PF, Highland Park, ‘27

Highland Park's Carter is ranked No. 4 overall after previously being ranked No. 6. She finished her sophomore season scoring 19.7 points per game. She fell just short of averaging a double-double for the season with 9.6 rebounds per contest. She is a paint monster who did average a double-double over the course of her freshman season, scoring 18.1 points and grabbing 10.2 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='791747' first='Bella' last='Bouddhara'], 5'6”, PG, Andover, ‘27

Bouddhara's game made a big jump between her freshman and sophomore campaigns. She is now ranked No. 5 overall after previously being ranked No. 7. She gets high grades for her defensive play, but this season it was her scoring production that jumped off the page. She went from scoring 6.4 points per game as a freshman to 17 points per game as a sophomore. She also averaged three assists and 3.6 rebounds per game for the Trojans.

[player_tooltip player_id='836263' first='Cami' last='Nauholz'], 6'2”, SF, Lawrence, ‘27

Nauholz moved from the No. 9 position to No. 6 overall. She heads into her club season with an offer to play at Northwest Missouri in her pocket already. She can play small forward or power forward. She has a nice mid-range jumper that I really like, or she can just get physical and back her way to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='936077' first='Aysia' last='Fox'], 5'8”, PG, Derby, ‘27

The biggest climber from outside the top ten is Derby's Fox. She moves into the No. 7 slot after previously being ranked No. 30. She was one of the best defending guards I saw this past prep season. She averaged 10.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 2.3 steals per game as a sophomore. She was a member of my All-Deck State team this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='779208' first='Zoey' last='Buckner-Franklin'], 5'6”, PG, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, ‘27

Buckner-Franklin remains in the Top Ten but dropped from No. 5 to No. 8. She is a legit three-level scorer for the Crusaders. She has a pretty left-handed jump shot and can hit from deep. She does not have blazing speed, however, she runs the floor well and has solid court vision.

[player_tooltip player_id='779206' first='Aliviah' last='Ball'], 5'6”, PG, Wheatland-Grinnell, ‘27

Ball is another athlete who made a significant jump up the rankings ladder. She moved into the No. 9 slot after previously being ranked No. 41. She scored 13.5 points per game and cleaned the glass an average of 8.6 times per contest. She is an impact defensive player who averaged 2.9 steals and 2.1 blocked shots per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='779216' first='KK' last='Emmot'], 5'7”, SG, Shawnee Heights, ‘27

Emmot jumped into the Top Ten for the first time after being ranked No. 26 in the previous rankings. She is a talented jump shooter and can score from deep. She has the size to play small forward and is not afraid to drive the basket and bang with the paint monsters.
