[player_tooltip player_id='642075' first='Lillie' last='Spicer'] made the move this season to the [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] program out of Des Moines and she has been holding her own at a respectable rate. So much so that Spicer is already playing up and competing with the 17U EYCL team this season, which is noteworthy. That EYCL competition can be very tough. From what I've seen and heard, she is doing a great job of playing her dominant-self down-low. If you didn't guess it, Spicer is a problem for most others in the paint. I think this experience this Spring and Summer will be good for her. If she sticks with it, she should come back and have a monstrous Winter with her CR - Jefferson JHawks program.

Quick-thinking. Explosive. Head-y. Energetic. These are a few words to describe [player_tooltip player_id='765744' first='Trinity' last='Whitefeather'] and the fire that she competes with on the hardwood. Whitefeather is a smaller PG with a crafty bag. She is known as a pass-first type prospect with the ability to make everyone around her a little bit better each game. She understands how to play off of two, how to make the most of her space, and how to create consistent opportunities for others. Starting off this AAU season, Whitefeather is playing great basketball with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] program so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='909425' first='Marlee' last='Emerson'] helped her team this past weekend to a 4-0 record, including hitting a game-winning step back three over a defender in one of their contests specifically. Emerson has been consistent these past 8 months. She did a good job making her presence known during school ball at Norris this Winter and she has seemingly carried that over to the AAU season with her Lasers program as well. Emerson is quick-off the dribble with a lot of tenacity. She is willing to attack the defense going either way, while being able to stop and pop for a jumper or to get all the way to the bucket for an attempt. She can also find others at a pretty high rate because of her ability to use her dribble to create space. Defensively, she is no slouch. She can guard her position better than most and that's been evident these past few weeks on the road. There is a lot to like here. If Emerson keeps this up, there is sure to be a school or two that will be getting in touch in the near future.

When young players are competing, it's always vital for them to have a solid base. Literally and metaphorically. You need to be able to do the simple things consistently and then you can grow from there. At the same time, you need to always play off of two and a solid base so that you an adapt in any given situation. Someone who does a great job at both of these things is [player_tooltip player_id='880925' first='Sophia' last='Bouchard'] of [program_tooltip program_id='714272' first='Iowa' last='Battlers'] 15U. Bouchard has that base and discipline to take this game a long ways over her career. She works from primarily off the ball to start but she does seem to have the ability to bring it up as well if need be. I like where SB is at right now. I see good things out of her and that's only going to grow with more experience over-time.
