[player_tooltip player_id='1048389' first='Addyson' last='Gust'] played great in their 1st game of the tournament. She was so active defensively, which was really impressive. She got many deflections and a handful of steals. She ran the floor hard and played with tremendous effort. She had a great play where she finished an And-1 opportunity at the rim.

Claire played awesome on Friday night. She knocked down 3 three pointers and also had a great floater to her strong hand. She competed defensively all night and was great with her on-ball defense. Opponents could not get around her. The most impressive part is she did it against girls who were all a year older than her.

Jaci was really good with the ball and didn't commit many turnovers. She knocked down multiple three-pointers for her squad and controlled the pace with her steady ball-handling. Jaci moves well athletically and is someone who could improve rapidly as she matures.

Tylie is a super tough player who is like a pitbull on the floor. She conducts herself like a true veteran on the court, despite only heading into her junior year. She has a great floater game and can shoot it from deep. Her athleticism is really impressive and something college coaches are writing down in their notes this weekend.

Mataya is a long and athletic forward. She moves well and times her blocks without fouling. She is able to rebound and push the ball forward in transition herself. Her length is what is most impressive; her arms create havoc defensively. She had several nice offensive moves, including many tough pull up jump shots in the lane and a sweet drop off pass on a drive. One D2 coach told me "I have got to have her."

Jordyn is playing up on the top 17U team for Sanford Fargo and fits in nicely. You can tell she is a year younger than everyone by her looks, but she doesn't play like it. She gets downhill against bigger opponents and is able to handle tough defensive pressure. She has great vision in transition and makes the right read. She is longer than what she looks like on film. Jordyn is a quality college prospect.
