The Class of 2025 is now in the rearview but it was one of the best high school classes that Kentucky has ever seen, from top to bottom. The top of the class is in the discussion for the best group of female hoopers that has come out of the Commonwealth. Looking ahead, there is a lot to replace after graduation and here are some players who could replace those top graduating Seniors.

Thirteenth Region

Regional POY: [player_tooltip player_id='631212' first='Brooke' last='Nichelson'], North Laurel

Next Up: [player_tooltip player_id='747655' first='Mariella' last='Claybrook']. Nichelson was a dominant post player and Mariella is ready to step right into that role next season. After averaging 10 points and 8 rebounds per game as a Sophomore when sharing the court with Brooke, Don't be surprised if Claybrook averages more like 20 and 15 as a Junior. She may even lead the state in rebounds per game.

Fourteenth Region

Regional POY: [player_tooltip player_id='502134' first='Kyra' last='McAlarnis'], Knott County Central

Next Up: Dani McAlarnis. How do you replace one of the best players in school history? With the next available family member, of course. As a 7th grader, the younger McAlarnis was nearly a double figure scorer and could be the highest scoring 8th grader at the varsity level in Kentucky next season.

Fifteenth Region

Regional POY: [player_tooltip player_id='780845' first='Sophie' last='Adkins'], Lawrence County

Next Up: [player_tooltip player_id='973362' first='Jada' last='Patton']. This is an easy choice as Patton is a top 2028 prospect in the mountains and clearly is a big time player who just finished her freshman season with averages of 16 points and 6 rebounds per game with shooting splits of 55/40/64. Don't be surprised to see Jada average more three point attempts next year as she only took 10 threes in 28 games as a Freshman.

Sixteenth Region

Regional POY: [player_tooltip player_id='555976' first='Kenleigh' last='Woods'], Ashland Blazer

Next Up: [player_tooltip player_id='724181' first='Gabby' last='Karle']. A good shooter and all around player who is capable of big scoring games for the Kittens. Ashland actually has some really good depth coming back as [player_tooltip player_id='747675' first='Brookelyn' last='Duckwyler'], [player_tooltip player_id='494473' first='Aryanna' last='Gulley'], Jenna Delaney, [player_tooltip player_id='913398' first='Alexis' last='Troxler'], Addison Wolfe and Mollie Scites are all returning with quality varsity experience. They should have a balanced attack.

The top of the class is in the discussion for the best group of female hoopers that has come out of the Commonwealth.
