In this piece we talk about a few prospects in the Top 50 that compete with grit. To be a "dawg" in sports isn't a bad thing. It's a compliment. It means you're willing to get down and dirty to do whatever your team needs of you and everyone who understands the game respects that.

[player_tooltip player_id='502096' first='KeaOnna' last='Worley'] continues to put together impactful weeks on the road as PG #1 for her AAU program. Worley is creating and distributing at a high rate, she is making sound choices on both sides of the ball, she is causing some chaos defensively with her active feet and quick hands, all while always being one of the first on the floor for a loose ball. Worley is the definition of a dawg out on the court. She leaves it all out on the line each game and it's quite noticeable at this point in her career. I'm not sure where Worley will end up yet but her interest continues to grow from the collegiate level so we will just have to sit back and watch.

The sky is the limit for [player_tooltip player_id='832196' first='Graclyn' last='Eastman'] of BG High School. Eastman is one of the taller players that the state of Iowa has to offer coming in between 6'0-6'1. Eastman would be considered a Forward, that works pretty well inside the painted area. She is someone that moves well in transition, she does her work early on in possessions with her body positioning, and she is a player that other opponents have to worry about when driving for attempts at the bucket or else she will finish the possession in a block and rebound. All in all, it's been a solid Spring season for GE and I expect that to continue throughout the month of July.

Everyone better buckle up for the return of [player_tooltip player_id='833954' first='Claire' last='Storhoff'] in the month of July on the road during the last Live College Viewing Period of the 2025 AAU season. Storhoff coming off of injury, is hungry. She wants to come back stronger than ever. If she takes the time she needs to get right physically, this is someone that should have several suitors from the next level moving into the Fall. She is the definition of crafty, she plays the game the right way, she is an A+ teammate, and she is ultimately someone with a great attitude that any coach would love to bring into the program. When you combined those all together, you get a proven winner and that's what Storhoff is. As long as she comes back with a chip on her shoulder, she should be just fine.

There is a lot of positives that [player_tooltip player_id='888299' first='Tiara' last='Berggren'] brings to the floor when she is competing at the PG position. When Berggren has talent around her, she really thrives and looks like a compete prospect but situationally it's not always that simple. On Berggren's current team's, she has to be the top dawg. That's going to the theme the rest of this AAU season and moving into her Sophomore season this Winter at Bondurant-Farrer. There is nothing wrong with that. I think Berggren has the ability to step up and put up respectable numbers over the next two years. She has all the intangibles, now it's about putting the pen-to-paper and making it happen.
