We are going to see a different side of [player_tooltip player_id='884641' first='Ella' last='Mungin'] this upcoming Winter season with her Millard South High School squad. Mungin is a 6'0 SF that checks off a lot of boxes from an outside perspective. She has back to the basket capabilities, while being fundamental near the hoop on both sides of the basket. She is someone that can kill smaller matchups with her size or she can outplay them with her skill and strength. Millard South has some promising prospect on roster and Mungin is definitely in that conversation. If they play to their full potential, they are going to make some waves over the next few years.

The tallest individual that the state of Nebraska has to offer out of the 2028 Class in Nebraska is PF - [player_tooltip player_id='884235' first='Shayla' last='Rautenberg'] of Milford High School. Rautenberg is coming off of being selected for Team USA Volleyball and that just speaks to her combination of size and athletic ability. This is also someone that happened to dunk in warmups this AAU season on the road this Spring. I'm not saying these two things have anything to do with each other or really the sport of basketball but both speak to her size, athletic ability, and coordination. Rautenberg will have a chance to play college basketball if she so chooses but as of right now, I'd have to put my money on the fact that she is about to dominant the world with Team USA Volleyball. That might be a bigger motivator then you might think but we will just have to sit back and see how it all plays out. Until then, this is someone to know as Milford will look to make a big run moving into the Winter season.

The potential upside that [player_tooltip player_id='884638' first='Stevie' last='Harley'] has on both offense and defense are noteworthy. Harley was a state leader in BPG last Winter as a freshman, while also making an impact as a defender in the lane, rebounder on both ends, and contributor as an offensive option. She still has a ways to go but I Harley could be a Division-1 prospect before you know it once she polished up her overall play-style. She just needs to stay in the lab in her off-time and continue to work on her weaknesses.

The #1 rated PF that the 2028 Class has to offer currently is [player_tooltip player_id='882860' first='Londyn' last='Whitney']. Whitney is going to be an important piece this Winter for Millard West as they try to find a new identity from year's past. They lose a lot of production due to graduation which means there will be ample opportunity for others to step up and make a name from themselves. Whitney will be one of their program's tallest and stronger individuals on roster. She comes in right at 6'1 and she moves well for that size. So much so at times you could debatably call her a SF. When you see the Wildcats win this Winter, youll see Whitney with a good stat line. I think those two things will go hand-in-hand moving towards the future but we will see.

I would love to see Lincoln High play through [player_tooltip player_id='895541' first='Nyla' last='Jones'] this next season for her Sophomore campaign. Jones is a 6'0 C/PF, that has muscle mass and adaptability. She can move away from the hoop and screen on the outside for a roll but most of the time - she does her best at eating in-between the blocks. She is a consistent rebounder that doesn't like to take no for an answer. She understands her advantages and where she can bully others, an ability that is only going to grow with time. Jones is a viable option out of this 2028 Class in the Post. She does a lot of good without being a liability and more will see that as she continues to compete at the Varsity level over the next three years.
