"The amount of chatter happening around [player_tooltip player_id='884645' first='Brynna' last='Renard'] has been notable the past few days. Everyone I talk to loves Renard and how strong she is under the hoop. She stands between 6'1/6'2 and when you pair that with coordination, strength, and knowledge of the game, you get a killer. That's what we have here. Someone who is going to be a killer for the next three years at the Varsity level at Lincoln NE High School."

These are all things that you see when you watch [player_tooltip player_id='884234' first='Da'Nyla' last='Tatum'] of Bellevue West compete. She has another level to her game that most don't and she is only going to be a Sophomore this upcoming Winter. We ranked Tatum as the #1 overall 2028 in the state for a reason. She has another gear to her skill-set and its noticeable."

"I was unaware that Stabler moved to Lincoln NE for the remainder of her high school career prior to this event. This move is going to be an important one. Stabler is a future college player at the PG position and she gets to be paired along with a very dominant post player in Renard. Considering that Stabler is already holding a D2 offer herself, the sky is the limit. She could really show everyone what's up over the next 24 months and help her team to a State appearance. She just needs to stay hungry and the rest will be history."

"The upside potential that [player_tooltip player_id='882865' first='Jo' last='Metoyer'] and Westside High School possesses is something to be aware of going into this 2025-2026 season. Coming off of a year where they made the State Tournament, this group will have a better than average chance to make it back and do some more damage. When that happens, Metoyer will be the person in charge and leading the pack. Metoyer's skill set is a nifty guard, that can audible in the blink of an eye. She is very skilled off the dribble with her handle and that helps her create for others or feast in the middle of the lane herself. As long as everyone keeps the momentum rolling, they should continue to see success. Just like in Day 1 of this event."

Someone that has really stood out throughout Day 1 is [player_tooltip player_id='897434' first='Mia' last='McKenzie'] at the CG position. McKenzie comes into high school at an agile 6'0 with a high amount of skill. She is already making her name known by totally holding serve in the scoring and rebounding categories of the game. We mentioned McKenzie earlier this week as someone out of the 2029 Class to know. If she just plays to her strengths, she is going to be someone we hear about for years to come."
