Class of 2028 Rankings: Next Five

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The final rankings update is live, and we have updated the Class of 2028 rankings to end the grassroots season. The 2028 talent in the state had a standout AAU season, and I thought, as a whole, the 2028s helped themselves out more than any other class in the state. There are plenty of players I'll highlight in this Class before we move on to something else, but this is a group to be excited about. Since Hollins returned, she has looked more comfortable in these last few months and played excellent basketball. Hollins has created off the dribble well and has still been a knockdown shooter from the perimeter. Her ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor allows her to be an impact player who can make game-changing plays at any time. I was impressed by her when I watched her play this spring and summer. John is a physical player who doesn't shy away from contact, uses her body in the paint, handles the ball well, and holds herself to a high standard. Nelson is as fast as anyone you'll see on a basketball court in Wisconsin, and she may not be close to her ceiling, but she makes plays that will catch anyone's attention. The 6'0 forward from Pius has the skill to play on the perimeter and create shots for herself, and plays with enough force to establish herself around the basket. Now that the backcourt for the Popes isn't among the best in the state, Lillee and her twin sister, Lizzie, could have breakout seasons at Pius.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
